History, Hiking, Javalina! If you like being in the wilderness, this is a great place. Quiet, dark, remote, wildlife, yet the campground has cable TV. Clean showers/restrooms. MacDonald Observatory is 13 miles away. Fort Davis historic Army Fort is nearby. Fun place. If you are a disabled vet, get your Texas Parklands Passport for Vets.
Good overnight campground. Easy on/off to I-10. Four miles from town. Gravel sites/roads. Clean restrooms. Friendly/helpful staff. Pool closed for winter. No hot tub. Cafe on grounds. Mix of long-term (workers) and overnighters. Would overnight here again.
Decent campground but not a destination resort. On the edge of town. Gravel roads and sites with concrete pads. Clean restrooms. Large pool..not heated. Hot tub...luke warm. Friendly/helpful staff. Mix of long/short term residents. Would stay here again for a night or two.
Neat, clean, friendly, well maintained park. Close to downtown/Alamo. Mission trail adjacent to park. Good authentic Mexican restaurant across the street. Definitely would stay here again. DO NOT take Southcross St between I-37 and Roosevelt Road to get to this park.
