Nice park, stayed here off season. Park is big with lots of seasonals. Lots to do for families with pools, jumpy pillows etc. Since it was off season hard to tell as many things were not up and running. However they do have well organized kid's activities. We were situated in the the Cedars or 80's site was average size with lots of trees. Nice location to the casinos and the local roads were beautiful with lots of quaint farms. Nice park, would stay again.
Nice park, great location: away from hussle of Route 1 but convenient to Kennebunkport and Ogunquit. Park was very clean, staff was wonderful, pool and hot tub were great. Sites were VERY large but offered little shade. Great playground and game room. Wood and ice not overpriced. One of the cleanest campgrounds I have ever stayed. If you stay make sure to bring your bike it is the best way to get around. Traffic can be difficult so use bike or trolley service.
Wow we had a great time I highly recommend this campground we had a blast. The sites were all concrete pads with very modern hookups and included a grill and table, very nice. Just a short walk through a parking lot and you are in the park. You can leave and go back anytime. If you stay at one of their resorts they let you in an hour early which is huge during the busy season. The park is awesome we all had so much fun. The pool is big and has a life guard until 11pm it was great!
Park is on the way up but still has some room for improvement. Pros - clean grounds, nice level spacious sites, some shade, helpful friendly hard working staff. Campground has beautiful playing field. Negatives - bathrooms were not clean, not much to do in the area, no pool. Overall it is a nice campground, the are putting is lots of work too make it better. I saw lots of new plantings. The maintenance staff was busy working even on a Sunday. I think this campground is on the up and up.
Wow, what a great campground! I was skeptical based on the previous reviews but I was thrilled with my stay. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend, and had a great time. I was at site 87 right on the lake. It was by far one of the best sites in the campground. The site was absolutely huge with the most amazing view. My neighbors were so kind, friendly and helpful. Thanks! Lamb City is not a fancy RV park but a simple campground. if you like camping you will be happy here. If you like life on the fancy side, you might try elsewhere. There is a well stocked campstore that is not overpriced. They had bonfires at night which were a lot of fun. I recommend this campground.
We have stayed at this park many times over the years, both as private and as a KOA and it is a wonderful park. It is a great area with lots to do. I highly recommend it. It is clean and convenient to Woodstock and the surrounding area. I recommend staying in the lower loop.
Very nice park. We stayed here off season and had a wonderful time. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Beautiful location with lots to do. Cape Cod rail trail goes right through the park. I highly recommend this park. Not sure why they don't have a pool. They are close to the ocean, but my kids would have liked it.
Very nice park for visiting Washington D.C. The facilities were excellent, and we had a very nice time. Couple of things to think about. First the sites are really cramped. I was on top of my neighbor's site. I could touch their camper from my picnic table. Second a Metro bus will pick you up at the campground and take you to the train station. This is very convenient but not cheap. Between the bus passes and the metro passes you are looking at close to forty dollars a day for a family of four. This of course has nothing to do with Cherry Hill Park, but it is something to budget for. Overall it is a really wonderful campground; just be ready to be packed in really, really tight.
