We stay here 6 months in the winter. Not fancy but the price is right and everything is close. It is not a resort but over age 55 makes it a quiet place to stay.
Voltage too high and EMS would not stay on. Really nasty place. We were wore out from fighting wind from Barstow to there. They had a hard time finding a spot for us. Management was nice enough, but didn't seem concerned about electric power problem.
Found the park more than adequate even though there were some older long term residents. This is not Las Vegas. Very helpful and pleasant management. Didn’t use laundry or restrooms. Sites were neat and clean. Would have no problem staying here for several days. Site was big enough for our 40’, 4 slide, and left our toad hooked up.
Stayed a week and would stay again. Can access Yellowstone Park from here (less than 20 miles). Should be some great fishing around here, lots of rivers and lakes.
Average for this part of NV. Have stayed here before and would stay again. Some have complained about dust, this is part of NV and live with it, the locals do.
Just rained and is pretty muddy. Electricty for entire town is off and therefore no water also. Manager is very nice and park is only as rough as the town, which is very "very" rustic. It's Alaska and you gotta luv it!
Not all sites have sewer, or TV. No pull throughs. Charge for Modem and WIFI and washing vehicles. Laundry very small. Very greedy and not too friendly. If you are going on Ferries, you can park RV free at ferry dock. I paid $17 a day storage at the park, they didn't bother to inform about free parking, guess that's how you stay profitable. Moved to Garden City RV Park, $24 with TV and sewer. Very nice owner.
