This is as good as it gets. Clean, big, friendly, paved, sun, shade. The website is accurate for reservations, and you can make them 6 months in advance. A great place!

Excellent CG. Nice staff on site, close to beach, groceries, WalMart, and restaurants. A great place to go and spend quality time.

Don't bother with this area. The route to the CG is narrow, winding through cornfield back to the middle of nowhere. The sites are short. The site I reserved was displayed as a buddy site, for two trailers, 40 feet long. The actual site was 1 driveway, 30 feet long, and room for a buddy tent, MAYBE a popup. The roads are paved, but narrow. The shower house was moldy, and extremely dated, with many years of caulk over caulk, cracked fixtures, and no hot water. There are many other nicer places to spend your hard earned dollars in Illinois. The Corps of Engineers needs to review this CG, and give it an Extreme Makeover.
