Wi-Fi is great, satellite friendly, sites are roomy and level. No trees over the campground because of hurricanes and remodeling, but overall, a pleasure to stay here. Great Verizon signal. Lots to do, if you're so inclined. Reliable electricity, nice people. We have family in the area, and will certainly stay there again!
We stayed here over Labor Day Weekend. It was chock full of families with kids and pets. It seemed that everyone had a great time. It wasn't a quiet time during the day, but it was at night. We stayed for a couple of days after everybody left, and it was absolutely terrific. Quiet, and lovely. The owners and camp workers were terrific, and we would certainly return.
We are here for the July 4th weekend The park is packed, but we are in a pull-through spot, and we don't feel crowded at all. The mood is good, the campers are friendly, and we are so pleased that we're considering extending our stay for a month.
Lovely campground. We asked for, and received a satellite-friendly site: so we were out in a field with other TV freaks. Office personnel were friendly and eager to inform us of what we could see in the area. Rate reflects "pay for 6 days, get 7" but for this "neighborhood" it was quite reasonable. Grocery and restaurants nearby. We may stay longer!
Not the park you want to choose if you have kids or need activities. We were happy with the quiet, and also pleased at their pet-friendly attitude. We had a pull thru with FHU, 50 amp and good Wi-Fi. There is an enormous bus next to us- must be 45 feet, so the pull through sites are certainly large enough. It's a nice place to stay while exploring Kennebunkport, though it's expensive.
Wow! Park is waaaayyyy off the beaten path. Has lots of seasonal folks, lots of trees. Entry road is paved and hilly, but about a mile or so in, it becomes gravel, but not a problem. I'm not sure if we would return. 30 amp electric on the low side.
We got lost coming here. I put the street address in the GPS: no joy. The campground lady was quite helpful with directions. The campground looks a little seedy, and the approach is definitely seedy. On the other hand, the electricity is good, and we asked for, and got a pull through site with satellite access. We're going to visit the museums at Seneca Falls, and this seemed as good a place as any.
The approach to this campground is a narrow, twisty road. The scenery is lovely, but the campground leaves much to be desired. The road from the highway is a mess, and the roads inside are very tight. We were in a 36 foot class "A" towing a car, and we don't think that a really "big" rig would do well here. We don't plan to return. (Got a lucky shot through the trees for our satellite!)
Lovely park! The people who work here are friendly and knowledgeable. They even have a small grocery/restaurant, and will deliver a pizza, chicken and other food items. The satellite friendly sites are close to the highway, but the noise is not a problem for us.
This is a quirky little park behind some motels. Nothing luxurious, just full hookups, easy access to the beach, and the sound of the waves. You choose your site at the park: whatever is open, and walk up the street to the motel to pay. No trees, so great for satellite. We will return.
Pretty park. The office hours are kind of "hippy-dippy," as in we're here now, but not now. However the park is lovely. We came in when the office was empty, but they were on the ball, and left documentation so we knew which site was ours, and how to get to it. Only problem was our sewer hookup ended up under our right rear wheel. Still enjoyed our night here! Found a workamper in the morning and emptied our tanks. We'd come back here.
People who run the office are lovely. The park is on a fairground, as it says, and sometimes there are circus performers staying here. Not a problem, just a part of the ambiance. It was quiet, electric was good, but it was hot as blazes. (Not the CG's fault, obviously.) This is a place I would return to if I needed an overnight, otherwise, not. Also: something to know, only cash or check in payment.
Park is basic, clean, with everything we need. We don't have kids traveling with us, so a basic park with full hookups, nice people and a good satellite view are what we look for. It's a short walk to the beach, sites are pretty level and gravel. We would definitely return!
It is what it is: a convenient overnight stop with pull through sites that are long enough, full hook ups, and cable TV. Not at all fancy, but certainly adequate for a stop-over. That's all we would use it for, and we would return.
The staff were friendly, and competent. We had asked for a pull through, 50 amp, full hookup site, with a satellite view, and that's exactly what we got. No muss, no fuss. (And I guess we're pretty demanding!) The campground was very well-kept. We would definitely return here.
Not bad for the price. As the previous reviewer said, a gravel parking lot off the interstate. Made reservation for 50 amp, and were told all were taken when we got here, early in the afternoon. This will be no more than an overnight for us!
Clean and quiet place. Not very crowded. They keep horses on the "back forty" so when the wind is wrong, it becomes a little aromatic, but that was only for a short time. We would return to this campground.
This park makes no pretense... it is a (today, at least,) a muddy parking lot with reliable electricity, and full hookups. Just a teeny bit tight if you don't unhook your car. Good for an overnight, but not much more, unless you have kids who would like to use the pool and waterpark.
There are very friendly people at the campground. The pull through sites are fine, and the electricity is spot-on. You can get a site that will receive satellite, and while the park does not have cable TV, they do have good Wi-Fi. We would stay here again.
Beautiful setting, and close to the highway. There was some road noise, but it wasn't a problem for us. The check in people were friendly, and capable, and our site, as well as the rest of the campground, was neat, and well-kept.
We are in the only RV in the center area of the park. Lots of park models in the shaded part. I guess the pull through sites are for transients. The people here are nice, but I wonder what they are thinking. They have been mowing the grass right outside our RV for an hour. And we're the only ones here! Close to the highway, but no noise. That part's good.
People who run the park were very nice. We stayed only one night en route. They have open sites for satellite reception, as well as shaded sites if you prefer. The night we were here it had rained the two weeks previous, so it was pretty muddy. All in all, it was OK.
Friendly and efficient check-in. Be sure to ask for a satellite site if you need one. Some sites are very shaded. Our site was not very level, and we could see other motorhomes with many blocks, and leveling devices. That being said, we would return!
We had a site directly facing the Chesapeake Bay. It was lovely, and cool. There are docks for fishing, and just enjoying the Bay. There weren't many people there, as the season was just beginning. We enjoyed it very much.
Pretty park, with a lot of trees. Not very good for satellite, but their cable is very clear. If you are looking for a remote place, this is it! There are, however, a few grocery stores within 10 miles, along with some pretty towns. Oxford, and St. Michael's are both on the bay, and have rich histories.
