Nice park. Paved roads. Most site are pretty level. A lot of activities. The satellite dish thing mentioned before is about grass cutting. You can put them in the grass, but move them on grass cutting day or they will be moved for you. And they don't like that. I was told about sewer hoses being cut with weed wackers, so move them, also. A problem I ran into is bad electric in Loop B. Voltage leak to ground. I got zapped while touching bare metal on the coach and the ground a little wet. I measured 26v between the coach and the wet grass. I moved to a different section and it's OK. I heard the problem has been there for a while. Other than that it's a nice park.
Pretty much the same as the previous post. Large, manicured, level sites. Very clean/neat park. If you don't need a pool, this park is great. Country setting but close enough to sightseeing, stores and towns.
Great park. Army Corps of Engineer park. Beautifully paved roads and sites. Manicured grass. Boating on the lake. Big-rig friendly. Large sites, plenty of room between sites. Full hookups are limited, so call ahead to reserve. They just added another loop with sewer, and was told they will add more in time.
Never camped there. Had a terrible experience with the park owner about a cancellation refund. Lost $65. We didn't go to their website and the owner didn't tell us about the charge at cancellation time. We found out when we got our credit card statement. Owner was real rude and ignorant. We missed the 30 day refund period by two days. That's our fault, but her attitude was totally unprofessional.
I agree with the latest review. New owners were very nice and accommodating. Park still needs some upgrading, but the owners are working very hard and what they have finished is really nice. Using Masten Lake/New Road, instead of CR-209 to Mt. Vernon will relieve you of one very long, steep hill.
