A wonderful state park with so many activities and trails to explore. It just needs Wi-Fi and a coin laundry and it would be a ten. But it's still a great park. We will definitely return: SOON.
Great park. The nicest state park I have ever stayed at. The sites in section A have full hookups. Everything was immaculate. The only drawback for me was no laundry facility. We will be back for sure.
The park was well maintained and the bathhouses were very clean. So clean that I opted for the bath house over my own shower. Trash pick up everyday and you are provided a trash can with bag everyday. Had a great time.
Excellent park. As far as I could tell, only the lake front lots have sewer hookups. The pool area is fantastic with a zero entry shallow end with multiple water features for the kids. It also has a large covered patio area with loungers. The lakefront lots get morning sun and afternoon shade. Site 117 is good for satellite reception. Go into Lake Village and go to Rhodas hot tamales for a tamales and homemade pie. It's a dive but great food.
Nicely shaded. A very nice state park. The only drawback is that the pool is very dated. They also charge $5 per adult and $3 per child per session. There is a morning session and a afternoon session. The pool has a large water slide but that cost extra also. I will stay there again. In our opinion site #87 is the best site in the park.
