The staff were very friendly and helpful, not only regarding the park but also providing information, tips and discount tickets to attractions in the area. The park is the closest to Colonial Williamsburg. Our site size was reasonably sized, even with our large unit and was tidy. Our only complaint was it could have been a bit more level, but we managed. The train tracks are next to the park and trains do go by, but that did not bother us. We would camp here again.
Fabulous location, right on the beach in the heart of Myrtle Beach. The sites on the beach are small but that's to be expected. We still had room to set up our fire pit even with our large fifth wheel and truck on the site. The office staff were friendly and very efficient. I had trouble getting on the wifi but, to be fair, I didn't go back to the office to ask for help. The park is connected to a very long pier and campers are provided with free passes to it, which is a nice perk. We didn't eat at the on site restaurant but the people across from us highly recommended it. With miles of beach to walk and lots of golf nearby, we very much enjoyed our stay here. We would stay at this park again.
The office area and adjoining clubhouse were really nice. The office staff at check in were friendly and efficient. Our site was small but adequate and reasonably okay to get into with our large fifth wheel. The Wi-Fi was great. Our only complaint was some of the park was a bit sketchy. Some of the units were obviously long term, not in great shape and we were concerned when we saw a boy of about 12 in the unit next to us wandering the park with a gun. It may have just been a BB-gun, but since that was reportedly not allowed, we reported it to a staff member on site, but he tried to downplay our concerns. After seeing the same boy the next day again wandering around the park with the gun, we cut our trip visit short and moved on. We would not likely stay here again except perhaps for an overnight enroute elsewhere.
The park is well located, right across the street from the beach. Our site was large, clean and well treed. The office staff was friendly and efficient. We had no trouble parking our 40' rig on our back in site and had lots of room around it. The Wi-Fi was great as was the cable TV. We didn't use any of the rec facilities, but they looked great. We would camp here again.
Stayed one night while driving to Florida. Arrived after 9 pm and had no problem checking in, with an "honor" system of placing the fee in an envelop in a mail slot at the office. The sites were large with lots of large trees. A lovely touch was the Christmas light display in the park, which was animated with accompanying music broadcast over a radio station. The bathrooms were convenient and very clean. We would camp here again.
Check in was quick and the office staff was friendly and pleasant. Our pull through site was an average size but was easy to get into. Our site and the entire park was very neat and tidy. The pool and surround are small but nice and clean. The Wi-Fi is a bit tricky to connect to, but once you figure it out seems to work okay. Cable TV would be a nice feature to add for a longer stay, but since we were only here for a couple of days we were fine with just the regular stations we could pick up with our antenna. Well located for access to Charleston and nearby attractions. We would stay here again.
The office staff was friendly and helpful, guiding us to our site and ensuring we were safely parked. Our site was large, grassy and had a nice shade tree. The park had lots of trees and was tidy. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice, as did the laundry facility. The fishing dock was long with quite a few guys fishing. (Bug spray is wise before heading to the dock.) The bathhouse is not the prettiest, but with a fifth wheel we didn't need it. The Wi-Fi was great as was the cable TV. With quick access to Savannah, this was a perfect spot to enjoy the city. We would camp here again with pleasure.
