Suddenly management deccided to limit the number of pets a camper can have at this so--called resort. When we first stayed, our three small dogs were fine. On returning, only two were allowed--with no notice, and the size of the dogs made no difference (our largest is 20 pounds). It was late at night, making this very inconvenient. I'd recommend against this place for anyone, even without pets. The gate keeper was not polite about it either.
Beautiful views of the mountains and valley, friendly staff, and low price contributed to a great stay. The park allows tents, and may be a little noisy on weekends. But there's good security, and I think excessive noise could be controlled. Only negative: I got chigger (insect) bites! That was irony, while true, I can't blame the park.
