I liked this campground very much. While we were there we found out that the campground had just been sold to a developer and no longer will exist. I'm really sad to see that happen because this is a very lovely and affordable place to stay while in Jackson.
We stayed here because the camp ground came highly recommended. We were not happy with our stay because we had asked for full hookups so we could have cable because we where going to be staying a week. Well apparently they have a special place for tent trailers and that is in the beginning of the park, right by the freeway that is very noisy at night. We also thought our campsite would have cable, wrong again. We also thought our campsite would have a swing in it, wrong again. Considering that we paid and requested a full hook up we got neither. The pool needed to be cleaned, my husband saw fecal matter floating by him in the pool. We cut our visit short by 4 days because the camp ground was not what we had expected. Everything they have on the agenda for fun to do comes with a price. Nothing is free in the town of West Yellow stone.
This is a very neat and clean Koa. When they say it's 12 miles north of Durango their not lying. The pool is heated which is a big plus because it was in the 50's at times when we where there.
