Operated by the county, it's a fair place to pause for a stop over. Young attendants were nice and we were able to get a partially shaded, almost level, site. Quiet, no issues and cheap for full hooks.
This is not the Little River Campground we remember. The hosts are not friendly and store attendants are worse. They were rude, offered no hospitality, and definitely not from Tennessee. The WiFi is horrible. The sites are too close together. The campfire beside us was within 3 feet of our 90 gallon fuel tank. The site sewer was stopped up and left a nice smell under our motorhome. They charged a friend four dollars to walk to our site, being he was not camping, after we paid over 65 dollars a night for the premium site. After many years of using this facility, we will not camp here again. It is over priced. They are obviously in it for the money, and rude.
Location, location, location. Great sun rises and beach access if you get a site on the beach front. No shade, so would be very hot during the summer months. Mostly owner sites, park models, and full timers. Tight squeeze for large rigs, but easy access to all types creature comforts in the St. Augustine area. $5 for 30 minutes of internet service at the office is a bit silly.
Weird place. Looks like it's been closed for 20 years. The host, appears from the back residence, charged me $38 and the only other camper there (a 5th wheel) $32. Said that I used more electricity than a 5th wheel. Bath house was ancient, but fairly clean. Watch out for the big snake by the old ice house.
Old campground, but noticeable improvements since the KOA management. Mostly gravel sites and convenient to I-55 and I-40. Good WiFi service, even in the back where they put the class A rigs. Looks like some long term or live-in trailers on the back portions. They lock everything at 6 PM, although the signs say 8 PM.
Nice, neat, and clean family atmosphere. Love the location with easy access to National Park, Cades Cove, and Gattlinburg. River front sites need further development for motorhome access.
Very nice and neat. Staff and owner are pleasant. We had mechanical troubles and had to be towed from the campground soon after our arrival. They were very supportive during our troubles and let us leave our tow dolly. We returned for 2 more nights after repairs were made to the coach. Nice folks and nice campground.
Lots of permanent residents, more like a trailer park, not a resort. Needs work. Owners are not pleasant and please don't bother them when it is close to 6 pm, lock-down time.
