This park is no longer a Good Sam Park and I could see the difference. The cleanliness of the shower rooms and laundry room have really depreciated over the past visits. "Wi-Fi" so to speak is no longer available. "Hot-spots" are used and you must be in the office area or laundry for it to work: when it works. There are 2, so they probably cancel each other out. Reception is bad. Office staff is still good and check in is easy. The reservation website is hard to understand and needs improvement.
The site was level with an easy access. The Wi-Fi was one step above "off". I mentioned to the personnel that my cable TV channel reception was snowy. They indicated it must have been something wrong with my RV because all channels were crystal clear throughout the park. One side of the store consists of a cooler (about 12') full of beer and wine. This is the first time I've seen so much at a KOA for sale. Water sprinkler jets were working to get our vehicle wet a couple times as we drove to our site. There is a geocache just down the road from the park. I would stay here again if in the area.
Nice quiet park readily accessible from the main street and then a smaller street (not an alley). Sites are dirt and gravel with small areas of grass. The bathrooms and showers are individual in private rooms. All hookups are readily accessible. The host is very friendly. Sites are nearly level. I would stay here again.
This park is way overrated. The cost for what one gets is terrible. I requested a site near the bathroom/shower facilities and got one in the second to last row farthest away. The grass in the site had not been cut and the dandelions had gone to white fluffy seeds. There was a nice ankle breaker hidden in the grass. The site was rather level front/back, but side/side had to be adjusted. A "welcome" would have been nice when arriving. The first thing I was shown after signing the credit slip was the "menu" advertisement for the great food facility. (I did not use it). Then, I was shown the park map and how to find my site in the back, in the corner. I don't know whether I would return or not.
This is a very quiet and nice park. Sites are shaded and satellite can still be received. The site was level and all hookups readily accessible. There is fuel and food within a couple miles of the park. I would definitely stay here again.
Check in was easy with a guide to the site. The KOA is not too far from the interstate, but the sign is a bit hidden and our GPS took us one mile farther down the road. The bathroom stalls are larger than the showers and there was only one hook to use. Not much ventilation in the shower area. The shower head is directly overhead. Prepare to keep your head bowed while showering. The sites are level and utilities are well placed. There is a geocache on site. We might stay here again if needed.
Easy access from the interstate. Quick check in with a reservation. I was guided to the site and all utilities were explained. The site was level front/back and side/side. Directions for departing the park were also given. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Office personnel were very friendly and both types of coffee were offered at no cost. This is a very nice landscaped park and I would stay again.
Easy entry to park with quick check in and a guide to the site. Some of the front office folks were not too clear when assisting with directions (just up the road, about a half mile, can't miss it, etc). Site was hard gravel with a patch of grass shared between sites. Site was level. Easy access back to I-70. I would stay here again if needed. We stayed for 3 nights and were satisfied.
Check in was quick. Once at the site I had to return to the office and request another site that would be long enough for my trailer and truck. My requests was quickly remedied and I relocated. The sites are gravel and red sand and it is amazing, there was no dust when the wind blew. The washroom/toilets were in the same individual rooms. Therefore, if the rooms were full with folks washing, there was no chance to use a toilet. Showers did not have any ventilation. By the time I dressed I was just as wet from sweating as before I showered. The front desk gave some good tour suggestions. After viewing some of the other parks in the area, I would probably stay elsewhere.
Access was easy from I-70. Site was level and surrounded by grass and trees (plenty of shade). The bathrooms/showers were very clean. Check in was very fast. This park is in excellent condition, even the dumpsters were clean. I would stay here again.
Every conceivable construction was underway on I-15 and surrounding areas, and we still made it to the RV park okay with the directions provided. Check in was easy and the staff attempted everything to get me an additional night. Sites are pea gravel and sand and are quite level. Bathrooms and showers were clean and will be newly constructed next year. I recommend going to Bridal Falls and Timpanogos National Monument (Caves). Both are a short drive (20-30 min) from the park. I would stay here again: after construction ceases.
Easy to find park from I-80. Check in was quite fast. We were informed we could use the pool facilities at the hotel above the park. My site was not level front/rear or side/side, and I noticed a lot of other RVs were raised front or rear (some with front wheels off the ground). Sites are loose gravel and dirt with a patch of nice grass. Cable hook up is a tight fit for large fingers. The two Jacuzzi's are nice. For geocachers, there are 2 within walking distance. I would stay again if needed.
Check in was quick and easy. The casino shuttle no longer is in use. However, it is only a short walk up the hill to Boomtown. Laundry facilities are clean and there were plenty of machines. The 2 Jacuzzi are great and are open until dusk. It can get windy in the park so we did not use the awning when we left the park to tour. Reno is nearby and Virginia City is worth the drive to tour the old shops. If you geocache there are some within walking distance of the park, and plenty in Virginia City. I would stay again.
We had a reservation for 2 nights but cancelled the second night after viewing the showers and bathrooms in both areas of the park. There was a weird odor and they were very dirty. This is definitely a kid friendly park, they were all over, running through sites. Check in was easy but the young lad at the desk rattled so many items so fast I had to ask again where the site was. There was a power interruption at our site and 2 adjacent to us. This was remedied. Folks were always walking through the sites. I will not return.
Sites are gravel/dirt. Due to trees location,I was not able to receive satellite reception and used the park cable reception. WIFI connects readily. Bathrooms are clean however, the toilet stalls are larger than the shower stalls, which are quite small. Trains run through the city area but we were not bothered with the noise. Hosts were able to assist with mobile RV repair contacts.Very nice park in the woods. Scenic sites are nearby both above and below ground. We stayed 3 nights.
Easy to locate, a short distance from I-5. Host directed me to the site and explained the hookups. Wi-Fi is very good with no password hassles. It appears the majority of sites are permanent stays. Park was quiet and neat. I stayed here in 2007, hence the reason for picking this park again. There is an animal park nearby with camel rides and a few geocaches in the nearby area. I could not give perfect rating due to no screens on the shower rooms letting mosquitoes. shower with me. I would stay here again.
The park was easily accessible. When we made a reservation we were informed to be sure we made the correct entry because there was a mobile home park with the same name just before the park. This was quite helpful. Check in was quick. The receptionist was able to give me concise directions to a specific fuel station. The bathrooms were clean but had a bit of an odor (Hence a 9 rating). I would stay again if required. The park was very quiet and neat. Easily found from I-5.
