A great campground. Several things to consider. The very windy, narrow roads can be tough to navigate to get to the campground. Remember: there are no pull-through sites with hookups, and there are no showers! Also, the summer months are very overcrowded and can be pretty noisy. The weekends are busy. The weekdays are best from September to early December, and February to early May.
Clean friendly state park. Sites are a little too close together. Nice lake view from several of the sites. We have stayed here twice and would stay again.
The park is very nice. The sites are gravel but there is good space between sites and nice shade trees. I gave it a poor rating because the owner is a very angry, nasty, and sometimes downright mean person. He barks order at patrons with pets and rides around on his golf cart yelling at cars if they even seem to be moving at more than a crawl. I will have to agree with another post that they do water, and it does get all over your rig and autos. He made staying there very unpleasant.
The park was terrible. Campsites are in very poor condition. The restrooms were filthy and in disrepair. No pool, no cable. The sites with 50amp service did not have a 30 amp plug. DO not waste your money.
