First 2 weeks of November major bird migratory path is Great Salt Plains Lake and Park. We saw thousands of Sandhill Cranes, also 3 mating pairs of bald eagles in park, saw 5 immature eagles and heard owls regularly, couldn't see them. The lake is very low and has silted in and needs to be dredged, but the wildlife still love the lake and there is a lot there to see and enjoy. The campground is excellent but lost on two points: no cell (which is really not their fault, but you need to know AT&T has no bars), the dump station fills up fast and drains slowly, so be careful here. Otherwise the park was fine, nice concrete slab that are level, good electrical and water hook ups, park is clean is crowded on the weekends and park rangers are evident and available. You park your RV and the park ranger will come by and get the fee for your RV. I would stay here again (we plan to come back when the birds migrate through again.) We parked in the River Road

Yes, this is a basic site, and it's gravel and level, but for fishing this is a great location. Only reason for not 10 on rating (basic). We used Abe's for fishing and excellent guides. Restaurant close. Internet is "throttled" but only because they are limited in band width. Few bars on AT&T and Verizon. But staff was very accommodating and helpful with cell & internet service. Would stay here again.

Stayed here one night on return trip. Called ahead to make reservations - were waiting for us when we arrived after hours. Gravel sites, fairly level, nice on the phone, easy access in and out of I-40.

Only reason this isn't a 10 is that the site has gravel surfaces, so needs a little leveling. Location was great for Bryce & Grand Staircase Escalante Nat'l Monument. We traveled to both and to Kodachrome St. Park - all easily accessible - just looking at other locations thought they were either very crowded and jammed or not full services. Staff was fine, not overly friendly. Wi-Fi is spotty, AT&T & Verizon were both low-bars. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here for almost 2 weeks and used this as our base for areas around Zion. It's not closest RV Park to Zion, but it is very clean, very well kept and attended, and staff is very friendly and helpful. The price reflects the nice conditions and they do a good job of catering to customers as much as possible. The price reflects discount for length of stay, so ask for price break if you are staying a while. We traveled Zion and outside Zion so this was a great location for us. We would definitely stay here again when we return to this area.

Inside a national recreation area, this park has remarkable accommodations. The price reflects this. Sites are level, excellent hook-ups, even lit for late night arrival, great wi-fi, and we just happened to have a great lake view. Real effort made to have great planting and nice surroundings around each site. We will definitely stay here again.

A small but nice little state park. Rustic and some sites in need of repair. (We had to move to get electric to work), but plenty of sites to pick from. Sites are shaded and view of lake from site (not next to lake where we are). Camped here at Deer Run which is only campground that has full hookups. Other sites have water & electric but no sewer, some only have water. Park personnel are friendly and helpful. Rate reflects Senior discount. Deer Run has sewer hookups for most sites with electric and water for all. The woodland site has a few 30 amps, but some in need of repair. The lake side have recently been up-fitted with all 50 amp. Middle row has always been 50 amp. Like the park, will be back when it's cooler. Great lake to fish in. Lots of birds and deer in area.

There is a reason old wagon trains would stop here on the way to California. It is a cool shady respite from the hot, dry prairie, even in summertime. There is a babbling brook to the side of the site. The sun sets at 5 pm rises at 10 am because the sites are in the bottom of the canyon. Great little hiking trails. Sites are flat and lots of shade, well maintained, and nice facilities for a state park. There is a steep road with hairpin curves to get to the campsite. Would stay here again.

This is the site closest to the northern entrance to Yellowstone, but sites are very small, not well maintained, there is a walking area for pet, but not supposed to let them walk elsewhere. If you're a medium or small rig parked in between two big ones, it's very tight. Were not friendly. For us, the only thing it had going for it was the location closest to Yellowstone. We won't stay here again.

Wow! Got a river site and we look out and watch the osprey & eagles catch fish all day long. We're photographers, so this was an excellent site. It is .7 miles from the North Entrance to Yellowstone. Read on other reviews that Xanterra employees stay here - for me that was good recommendation, but does stay filled up, however toward end of August, begins to thin out. Friendly & helpful with hookup and sites are easy to navigate and pull into. Playground for kids, all Wi-Fi coverage (this is new). Very easy, very nice and friendly - couldn't ask more. Only reason this isn't a 10 is this is my first review.
