Normandy Farms is the campground by which all others should be measured. They are not only the best in the area but the best anywhere in my opinion. There is not one thing I can think of to complain about. It has friendly staff, Stocked store, plenty of activities, spacious sites and ample amenities. This is our 2nd time staying here over the last 3 years and it seems as if they're pouring every penny right back into the park.

Very nice family campground. Spacious sites, and the park in general is spread out. This time of year is still cold, so the indoor pool was filled to capacity. Well stocked camp store and friendly staff at check in.

I think this is the first 10 I've given. This park has everything and is well worth the price. We couldn't take advantage of the pools or tiki bar this time of year, but it didn't matter. This park has everything. Very friendly staff. Huge camp store with campers kitchen offering delicious foods (and free pancakes in the am). Extremely dog friendly. Playground, arcade, shuttle to the boardwalk. Everything you could ask for.

Great campground. Whether you stay on the soundside or the oceanside you'll enjoy the views. RV pads are large and the sites are spacious. We couldn't make use of the outdoor pool this time of year but the kids enjoyed the indoor site. The camp store doesn't offer much and there's nothing within walking distance so plan ahead. Groundfires are prohibited, but you can have one on the beach so long as you have a permit, which is free and provided at check-in.

There are a lot of choices in this area, and we were pleased with ours. The kids thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools and floating around the lazy river. This time of year isn't very busy so the hours of the camp store, mini-golf, and arcade were limited, and other amenities simply weren't available. We chose to be inland near the pool but were disappointed to be camping in the dirt. The restrooms were clean but dated. I have a feeling this place is crazy during the summer so we were glad to have experienced it in the off-season.

Beautiful park and an excellent place to stay. The only reason I didn't rate it higher is because it didn't have some of the amenities other campgrounds offer that appeal to families like a swimming pool, snack shack, arcade, etc. Huge sites and lots to do. We toured the fort and enjoyed hiking on some of the well marked trails. The shore areas are fun to explore and we enoyed watching huge barges being escorted up the river. Lots of rules prohibiting dogs though. Well stocked camp store and well maintained facilities.

Can a campground be too nice? The only complaint I can muster is that it didn't feel like camping at all. No fires and the sheer amount of landscaping prevents you from seeing the stars at night. This is a high end motorcoach retirement community that allows transient campers like us. Beautiful grounds, impeccably maintained and in a secure environment. We were escorted to our site and assisted with our back-in. Lots to do within walking distance and some great restaurants nearby. This place is a must see.

Nice park and relaxing setting. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. We couldn't take advantage of the pool this time of year, but we enjoyed the nature walk and large play areas. Well stocked camp store, and we were treated to free, homemade waffles before we departed.

This is a phenomenal park to stay at. Couldn't use the pools this time of year, and we didn't take advantage of the Metro bus access but still had a great time. Extremely well stocked store and very friendly and helpful staff. Sites are a little too close together, and that's the only reason I didn't rate a 10. Nature hike around the park was fun for the kids.

Second time camping here and second time rating. Again, this time of year doesn't lend itself to swimming and all the amenities, but if the weather was nicer this is a great family park. Very friendly staff. Camp store is well stocked. Sites are a little close together.

Stayed one night over Columbus Day weekend. Can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating the staff were. Despite the pool being closed this time of year there were still tons of activities for the kids planned throughout the holiday weekend. Nearly all the sites participated in the Halloween festivities which included pumpkin carving, site decorating and trick or treating for the costumed kids. Well stocked camp store too.

Very nice place for a family to stay. I can't say enough about how friendly ALL of the staff is here. The pools were clean and there were a ton of activities all weekend long. We experienced none of the problems others have described here regarding "overzealous" security. The park was crowded, as it was Labor Day weekend, but families respected the quiet hours. Price reflects 7% sales tax.

Nice park, but definitely has a "corporate" feel to it. Massive place with a lot of activities. Bathrooms were disgusting though, and they charge $8 on top of the $77 nightly fee for each additional member of your party beyond the first two.

Excellent KOA. The best we've ever stayed at. Clean, well kept, with fully stocked campstore and 3 pools to choose from. (One is for kiddies, another indoors.) Lots of campground activities and the place is secluded despite being in the heart of the city. A bus will pick you up outside the campground and take you anywhere you want to go, including the viewing area for the falls downtown. 24 hour bus fee for 2 adults was $10 for 2 adults, and kids under 12 ride free.

Strange campground. It's a situated in a large cement parking complex which features a movie theater (only open Thursday through Sunday), some sort of condominiums, a Best Western hotel, and a bowling alley with a restaurant. Some of this "resort" is chained off with weeds growing through the cement giving it a run down look. But I gave it the overall rating I did because my kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool at the campground/gym, the arcade and pool at the hotel, and the movie theater. Seems to be mostly seasonals (or year round residents for all I know) and the gym/pool appears to offer memberships to non-campers, so there was a good deal of traffic in and out.

Nice and well kept campground. At first it felt we were pulling into a truck stop, but after checking in and finding our campsite we found it to be very pleasant. Well kept pool and hot tub and the restrooms and showers were immaculate. There's a brewpub and family restaurant located in the same general are which you can walk to.

Great park. Owners were very welcoming and the pool was immaculate. The entire grounds were very well kept. The adjacent restaurant was well worth the visit as well. We'd stay here again.

Not a particularly nice place to stay, but we couldn't find a more viable option in the area with a pool. I try not to rate a park based on their clientele (it's not their fault), but the place seemed to have a bunch of people just "hanging around." Whether they were seasonals or locals, the laundry, pool and campstore all seemed to be some sort of magnet for people from the area. This place is just okay.

Nice park, everything you expect from a KOA, but if I had one complaint it would be that they need to pay more attention to their #1 attraction: The swimming pool. It's the reason we (and I suspect others) chose this place and it was filthy by the time we checked in. Both the pool and the hot tub had a fine film layer of bugs, hair and general filth. Also, the BBQ food they offer was expensive. But overall this was a pleasant stay and I'd recommend it.

Expensive, but worth it. I would have given it higher marks but the power was out at the main lodge when we got here and we weren't able to enjoy some of the parks amenities and scheduled events. The food they serve here was too expensive as well. But it's a high traffic area and they do a great job getting you in and out. The park is well kept and we would definitely stay here again.

This is a phenomenal place to stay. Not one complaint. The owners were tremendously welcoming, and the campground is extremely well kept. Lots to do and see, and the hiking trails were a highlight. I would recommend this campground to anyone, and we will definitely stay here again.

This isn't a campground, it's a parking lot with hookups. No trees to speak of. No campfires allowed. There is a pool with some chairs strewn around it, and that's about it as far as amenities go. There is a shuttlebus that will pick you up at your site for free and it runs roundtrip all night. We would not stay here again.

The attraction to this place is obviously the indoor pool and hot tubs, so needless to say I was more than a little disappointed when we arrived in the late afternoon and discovered they decided to close the place at 6pm. This wasn't reflected on their website and it wasn't the case when I called just a week prior and was told it closed at 10pm. When asked, the girl behind the counter said they had "just decided." It's not much of a campground. There are full hookups available, but not at the waterfront sites. Those are tent sites only. The hookups are a row back. There is one restroom with 1 toilet and 2 shower stalls, and the indoor pool has a snack bar. Those are the amenities. The kids enjoyed the little time they had in the pool, but be forewarned it's not included in the price of the campsite. You get a discount but still pay.

Phenomenal place to stay. Seems brand new and it is very clean. You're basically in a parking lot, but the RV pads are huge and the facilities are convenient. The camp store has everything you could want and the hotel will send a shuttle for you if you want to use the pool or eat at their restaurant. If you stay here, the railway is a must. It was an unforgettable adventure for the kids and the trip was first class. One word of caution, the Winchester restaurant which is co-located but not affiliated is an expensive night out. First class entertainment and service, but hard to get out of there under $200 bucks.

I really was looking forward to staying here, but this place disappointed me entirely. Maybe it's their off season or something, but this campground basically said "Let yourself in the keys under the mat". The bathroom and shower was dirty. The hot tub was a petri dish. The "camp store" had nothing. No coin machines in order to use the arcade or laundry. No firewood to be had, and in order to build a fire you had to find your way down a back dirt road, past some year round trailer park type sites, and build on unoccupied tent sites. The "premier" sites are nice big pads, but they're located virtually on the shoulder or a frontage road. Trucks go up and down I-80 all night. This is a wonderful area to visit, but this place could use some customer care.

Ruby's Campground is the only option I'd consider when visiting Bryce. Not all of the amenities were available to us this time of year, but we made use of the pool, restaurant, lodge, and RV service while we were there. Be forewarned, its a very busy area with all kinds of buses and shuttles running, and the pool area and restaurants can get very crowded. Overall this campground has everything you need, and anything you want is within walking distance.

The people here go above and beyond with their customer service. Food made to order, cookies for the kids upon arrival, free breakfast, and a genuine interest in their customers and in the history of the area in which they operate. It's in the middle of nowhere, and there aren't a great deal of amenities if you're just passing through, but the hosts made sure we had everything we needed.

Very nice park. The pool facilities weren't open this time of year. Very close to the Cadillac Ranch and The Big Texan will send a limo to the campground and deliver you to and from their restaurant free of charge. Plenty of bathrooms and showers. If I had a complaint, it would be that the check in procedure took a little time because they had one poor woman handling everything, including cooking made to order pizzas. Very pleasant despite her stress I must say.

Nice park with a new feel to it. Friendly hosts and the campground store and lodge has a lot to offer. But they don't sell firewood, even though the sites have pits. The pool was closed this time of year and that would've certainly added to our enjoyment. My one complaint is that they put us in a slice of a site which was practically located in the parking lot. Seems like there are plenty of seasonal/regulars here and if you're a visitor your treated as such. Someone was kind enough to let us know the area of our site my kids were rolling around on was a favorite of all the local dog walkers. Had I known I would've asked for a different site.

Nice campground. Friendly people. Pool was closed this time of year, which disappointed the kids, so we made use of the on-site ice cream parlor instead. Friendly staff.

I gave the rating based on the fact the manager was friendly and it appears as if they're trying to do the right thing, but this is not a nice campground at all. One side is practically in the shoulder of the highway, and the backside is a dirt road with no fence separating the locals speeding up and down the back roads. Lots of highway noise and we didn't feel safe at all without any separation from wanderers from outside the camp. It's located behind a truck stop which had more than their share of people holding cardboard signs at the exit. No campfires at our site so we had to travel to a tent site which was located even closer to the highway. There is a pool (which wasn't open) but I doubt we'll ever find out whether it enhances the experience. Bottom line not a nice area, not a nice camp.

Spacious lots and very friendly staff. Camp store was well stocked. Of course very convenient to the Horse Park which is good for several hours of family time. Roads and sites were paved which occupied the kids with scooters, bikes, chalk, balls etc.. Just not very many amenities outside of that.

Very fun place to stay. Lots to do and plenty of amenities. The indoor/outdoor pool was operational this time of year. If I had one complaint, it would be that they weren't very clear during the check-in process that I needed to purchase a pool pass in order to take advantage of what the resort had to offer. Or that I should request to purchase firewood at that moment. Nor was the layout of the hotel made clear. As a result we had some wasted hours while trying to get a lay of the land. But overall this is a great place to camp.

Great park. This place has everything for a family to enjoy. This time of year we couldn't take advantage of the pool, which would've certainly enhanced our enjoyment, but we still had a great time. The camp store had everything and the restaurant served good food. My one complaint would be that they weren't very clear that all the rides, ice cream parlor etc.. Those were weeks away from being opened. I'd recommend this park to anyone, but if planning a stay before Memorial Day you need to make sure some of those amenities will be available.

The weather didn't allow us to take advantage of the pool this time of year and that certainly would've enhanced our enjoyment. This is a very clean park and the camp store has everything. Very friendly staff as well. One word of caution for parents is the jump pillow. It can turn into a game of King of the Mountain in no time and its no place to leave the kids without supervision.

We stayed here Columbus Day weekend which coincided with their Halloween celebration. This was a blast and virtually each and every site participated. Not much else to do here as far as amenities go, but they do have a nice fishing lake.

Burlingame is a no frills kind of place. Lots of space though and there are some very nice lots in the woods. Fun place to bring your bike with lots of paved roads to ride on. The "beach" area is small and it's difficult to find a place to fish from if you want to cast from land.

Phenomenal park to stay in. Only the indoor pool was open this time of year, but the kids still had plenty to do with the BMX bike track, huge playground, dog park, fishing pond, ball field etc... I highly recommend this park to anyone traveling to the New England area.
