After staying at a 10/10 this was very disappointing to say the least. Our site was very dusty, table a disgrace & power hook up looked iffy. We were given full sun site 10 yards away from & looking directly into untidy storage. All this but whilst we stayed, there was a minimum of 25 shady sites empty. In my opinion management needs to learn what hospitality means. We tried to book at another RV park but unfortunately they were fully booked which in itself says something. We are Passport America members & only paid $22.50 & that was still overpriced for our site WiFi was hopeless. Definitely would not recommend.
As previous reviews this has everything & everybody to make your stay perfectly relaxing with every amenity & very strong Wi-Fi. Would defiantly recommend. We stayed as Passport America members so what a bonus at the PA price
Absolute disgrace. The entry showed that obviously many vehicles had grounded upon entry or exiting, so very rough. The host has a table out front full of rubbish and a very untidy area. Very little room to maneuver into site which was very narrow. The (mens) toilet room was disgusting and over the 3 nights and 4 days we stayed it was never cleaned. Laundry has one washer, one dryer and no water or tubs. Worst bathroom facilities we have seen. Obviously this is just a money maker where the fairgrounds get the attention. Planes taking off and landing right overhead due to the airport next door and we had to sign a waiver in case of golf ball damage from the golf course over the fence. We would definitely not stay again or recommend this to anyone. In our opinion this is $30 per night overpriced and whoever is overseeing this facility needs to inspect other campground to see how it should be done.
Greeted by owners who are excellent hosts, and go the extra mile. Nothing is any trouble. Spotless amenities. Shady spacious sites and very strong Wi-Fi. Short drive to "The Presidents" and Crazy Horse, local villages and state parks. Checked other campgrounds and definitely would stay here again.
This park is not much more than a gravel pit full of potholes and weeds. The sites are very narrow, when slides are out, almost touching the next van. Wi-Fi is extremely limited and slow and they do not tell you upon check in that it is capped and once you use your quota for the day it is not reset until 2 pm the following day. Very inconvenient. Overpriced for what you get. Nobody seems to care about the appearance of the place. There is a good vehicle wash $ which is handy after traversing the dirt roads to here. We would not stay here again.
Firstly we could not find this park as the sign advertises their main business which is fish processing, with the RV park in smaller letters that are hard to read. The processing operates from very early to very late with the generator running noisily most of the time. The smell of fish is strong and the sites are small and just gravel. We would not stay there again. There are much better parks around the town. it definitely was not good value for the dollars.
This park is 6 miles from Seward in the middle of nowhere. It is quiet with gravel entry and sites but needs some TLC as far as being very dusty and the grass badly needed mowing. We checked out the public sites in town which have beautiful views over the bay and mountains so we would much prefer to be there as they are in a far better position. This park has cable and good Wi-Fi but being so far out of the way we would do without those to be closer to town.
We were totally disappointed in the state of this campground as it had knee high grass everywhere, was very untidy and looked as though no one had done a days work outside for months. The "beautiful views of the water" were non-existent. We have been staying in campgrounds right through the US and Canada for 18 months and this is by far the worst we have been in. We had booked ahead from the directory and website so unfortunately has to stay but would have chosen Garden City had we looked at them first. The proximity to town was the only plus about it. We would definitely not stay again.
This park is the neatest and best kept park we have stayed in for a long time and is within walking distance to everything in the town. The office staff were most helpful and informative. We would most definitely stay here again. It is by far the best in town. All beautiful grassy sites and good, large even pads.
This campground is overpriced, even charge $1 for a hot shower. No cable and local TV is very limited. Good position and views and close proximity to shopping etc. One staff member very friendly and helpful, but others not very knowledgable about local facilities. Water pressure terrible.
