Small park, and some sites are close together. The larger sites appeared to be back in and mostly long term. There are some manufactured homes at the front of the park that appeared well maintained. We were in a pull through that backed up to the upper trail along the river and faced the swimming pool. In spite of the extreme drought and heat in Texas this summer the park was still green. The upper and lower trails along the river had bench's and swings that made for a pleasant retreat. There was also a small fishing pier. Staff was not particularly friendly or helpful, but that was a small matter. Rate reflects Good Sam discount.

This park is basic; I can't really complain, but can't really rave about it either. The "lake" is a man made pond that was nearly dry. Many of the sites are occupied long term. The park is neat, staff at check in was friendly. My major complaint is the gravel roads are very dusty. I also found it interesting that while the rules say no vehicle washing the camp hosts children offering to wash vehicles; people had their pets in the restrooms and smoked in restrooms in spite of rules. Not sure I would return to this park.

I truly wish there was a rating lower than one. After a long day of hard driving with strong winds, rough roads, heavy truck traffic and construction, we tried to find a campground before we got to Little Rock and rush hour traffic. We settled on T Rick's which is basically a service station with RV sites behind it. Sites were covered with dry grass that must have been a foot high when it was mowed. At 2:00 am a semi truck pulled through the site next to ours to turn around (it sounded like he was coming through the bedroom!) then parked on the road exiting the park. When I opened the blinds in the morning every road in and out of the park had an eighteen wheeler parked on it. Going back to sleep after the eighteen wheeler passed through was almost impossible because of the road noise. With any luck we won't have to drive through Arkansas again, but if we do and need a place to park we will go to the Walmart in Carlisle. We have never stopped at Walmart but it would have to be much better.

This was our second stay at this park; it is a nice, family owned campground with friendly, helpful staff. WiFi signal is good. Over air TV signal was so-so and we had difficulty getting satellite. (We were in the 50 amp pull through sites.) This is a good short stay campground. Sites and facilities are well maintained. Restrooms are older but clean. Laundry is small (two washers and dryers) but clean. We will stay here again.

This is an older campground, and sites are very close together. There appears to be a large number of permanent rigs here, and the best sites, those along the creek, do not have full hook up. The road to the campground is narrow; we hoped we did not meet another vehicle before we got to the office. Campground was full, lots of children. Wi-Fi was very good and reliable, and the cable was clear but the strangest channel numbering system we had ever encountered. Restrooms are old but appeared clean. This is the only campground we ever saw that had carpet on restroom/shower floors. Not sure we would come back here.

We needed a park convenient to the District and Northern Virginia and this one met our needs. We checked out other parks in the area (Pohick Bay is nice, but a little remote and camping with a capitol "C". Aquia Pines Camp Resort appeared to be primarily monthly residents in the FHU area, the other sites would be very difficult for us to get into). Travel Trailer Village is a basic, no frills, utilitarian park. We had FHU with 30 amp which we found to be adequate (we were here in September and were not using AC). Sites are close together and just large enough for RV and one vehicle. The staff was friendly, and the park well maintained; restrooms and laundry were very clean. Access to I-95 and shopping is good. We will stay here again.

We pulled in here for an overnight. Nice park with very friendly staff, we are retired and "family friendly" is not important to us, but I must say the fall decorations outside the office were certainly appealing! The sharp turn at the entrance did not give us problems. Sites are grassy (were gravel at one time), some have concrete patios and some are shaded. More interstate noise at the sites toward the back of the park. Wi-Fi and satellite reception were good. Laundry is small, four washers and dryers that appeared new, and very clean. Restrooms are also very clean. We would stop here again.

We were looking for a campground with easy access to Northern Virginia and DC with full hookup. This KOA is unusual in that it is way off the beaten track; you drive several miles down a winding, hilly country road to get here. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing camping experience, or Fredericksburg and Richmond are your destination this could be a great place. Unfortunately, we needed easier, quicker access to grand kids and the DC area. If you come here, staff is very friendly and accommodating, cable and Wi-Fi are good and if you pick your site carefully leveling is not a problem and you can get satellite. Laundry is small but adequate.

I had a difficult time choosing a rating for this park. They had experienced a great deal of rain prior to our visit. Roads were washed out in places and rutted which made tight turns more difficult. Concrete pads are fairly close together but leveling was easy. Restrooms were nicely done but floors were tracked and sandy. The last day we were here they finally put a mat at the restroom door to help with the problem. Some cable channels reminded me of watching TV in the 60's--lots of snow. Trees prevented satellite connection. Wi-Fi signal was good. We were here over a weekend and there was a lot of traffic; the speed limit is not enforced.

We stopped here for one night and ended up staying two in order to explore the antique stores in Selma. This is a nice, small campground with some full time residents. Our site (C2) was next to the lake and the ducks kept the cat well entertained. Restrooms, showers and laundry were very clean (some of the cleanest we have encountered). The campground is very close to I-95 but we did not find that to be a problem. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a great short stay park. We would stay here again.

This is a beautiful, well maintained campground with lots of large trees. Roads in the campground are paved which is a real plus. The staff is friendly, but not always knowledgeable about the sites. We were here 10 days and saw someone different each time we were in the office. The trees are beautiful but make satellite reception difficult. Staff did not have information on what sites reception would be best (If you visit the park sites in the middle of the OO,PP, and QQ rows are your best bet if you want satellite.) The pool is nice, but close to the road. I would have rated this campground 10 except for the laundry which is inadequate for a park this size. It only has four washers, is very small with no room for folding and is very hot. Also, the Wi-Fi is the worst I have ever experienced in a campground. I have had dial up that was faster, and the signal was very inconsistent. There were days when I could not get a connection at all.

We spent one night in this campground. It was quiet, with easy access and friendly staff. Park appeared to be clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

I am not sure I would classify this as a resort. There is no pool or game courts, etc., but it is a very nice park, built in 2008. There are a few shaded sites on the perimeter of the park, but they are mostly used by full-time residents. The pull-through sites have a very tight turn that we could not get into; however the back ins were easy to access. Fifth wheels did not seem to have as much trouble making the turns. Restroom and showers (bathroom suites) were very clean except for the floors (are the floors mopped in any RV park public areas?) as was the laundry. There is a very nice club house. There were plenty of vacancies when we were here, but understand the park is very busy in the winter. Park is very convenient to Fairhope, outlet mall, beaches and Mobile. Rate is based on the weekly rate of pay for five nights and get two free. We would definitely stay here again.

The only things this campground has going for it are location and the wide sites. The campground is very conveniently located to attractions in Savannah. Sites are basically gravel pads lining two sides of a big field. We checked in on the phone and were given our site number. There was no information on where trash should be deposited, location of facilities, etc. The website is deceiving. Buildings are widely scattered. I do not know if there are showers, the restrooms are in an outhouse with running water, only one has a sink for hand washing. At $45 a night this is very over priced and not a good value. We would not return here.

Very nice park with friendly staff. Public areas really need to be cleaned. Trash in back laundry room and in ladies room appeared to have not been emptied in weeks, floors in all areas needed to be cleaned. That said we would come back to this park again.

This is the one of the most expensive parks we have stayed in. It is a very old park, there is no grass, only grass burrs. The pool is nice and restrooms are old but clean. It is about 300 yards across the street to the beach, which we did not find inviting. There is also a 6000 person capacity night club across the street that you can hear all night. Would not return to this park.
