This was an overnight stay for us and it is the only reason for us to stay here. This is a P.A. rate. The regular price would be extremely over priced. It is a clean park with large common areas to walk the dog. The utilities are good and it is satellite friendly. The so called lake is a large pond which is being overtaken by vegetation.
We were only passing through but were impressed with the campground. It is very clean with large common areas. There is plenty to do for both adults and children. We will return for an extended stay. There are seven lakes hooked together that we would like to explore. Everything you would need is close by and there is plenty of shopping in the area. The utilities were good. The biggest drawback is there are only 16 full hookup sites and no honey wagon.
We really enjoyed our stay here in the cool weather of the U.P. The park is well kept with large common areas to let the dog run. There is not much in town so bring everything you need. There are several attractions within an hour's drive. The utilities are good and thank goodness for cable because the trees blocked our satellite. Remember your leveling boards, you will need them. The lake fishing is good and the local campers are willing to share their knowledge. It is very quiet and peaceful here. We met several very nice people.
We stayed here for three nights and it was OK for our purpose of visiting the local area. If you are a fisherman do not go here for the lakes. They are large ponds at best and mainly for the kids. The utilities are good and it is satellite friendly. This is a good family campground that is very busy and congested on the weekends.
We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed the park. The owner and seasonal residents are very friendly. The laundry room was clean and reasonably priced. Some of the sites had a long reach for the utilities. The water and electric were good and it is satellite friendly. The protected waters of Lake Huron are safe for a small boat. This is mainly an adult park.
We stayed here one night on our way to Michigan. The overnight pull throughs are close to the freeway and there is a lot of road noise. The water here is bad. There is an odor when taking a shower and I had to buy a gallon of water in order to make coffee. I had a drip where the hose entered the camper and I can not get the stain off. Most of the campground is seasonal with mostly old rundown trailers. The office person was very nice. We stayed here because we got a Passport America discount.
