My family loved this park!! This was immaculately clean, impeccably groomed and lushly landscaped. We had a waterfront site, which is far enough away so you get no road noise. The view over the river is so relaxing and the sites are easy to get into and out of. Level sites and lots of room between camps. A picnic table was even provided for gas grill and eating outdoors. Loved the clean (heated!) pool and spa, and the gas fireplaces all over the grounds. With the Adirondack chairs surrounding the gas fireplace, it was really nice. I would like to see a playground or something else for the kids to play on, but other than that, it was perfect for the weary traveler who wants to be pampered.
This campground looked great on the internet. There is nothing for your kids to do here! No pool, no spa, no sports court or even a playground. There were a lot of long term and full timers in the campground. The pull through sites are really close to the freeway and you can request a site away from the noise that accommodates a large rig, but it's tight!! Sites are close together but well groomed and clean. Sites are paved and level but there is no privacy. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. I would probably not camp here again, just based on my kids overall dislike of the grounds.
I'd say this campground is fairly close to perfect. We camped here in March and so it rained nearly the entire time. But when it wasn't raining we were able to take walks and enjoy the lovely, lush surroundings. The sites are fairly level, but not paved, and easy to back into. We were in a full hookup site, and it was surrounded by large trees and bushes. Very private setting. The campground hosts were kind and accommodating, even though it was off-season. The campground has a large field for the kids to play in with goats!! Our kids had a great time even though the pool was closed due to weather. Would be amazing in summer. Bring DVD's as the cable/TV signal was non-existent.
On the plus sides, this is a really great campground, clean and immaculately maintained. The sites are all level, easy in and out and have small grassy areas next to each of them. They have a playground for kids which is nice, but absolutely nothing else to do. The spa closes at 7PM, which was way too early and didn't give us the chance to use it. Given the cost, I thought that was silly. There is no table outside to either eat at, or set a gas grill on, and the sites are incredibly close together, even for a planned RV community. It is quiet at night, and the roadnoise was barely perceivable once inside your coach.
We camped here on our way to Seattle with our two children. It's off-season, but the campground hosts were NEVER here. We stayed overnight and never saw or heard from them. Our registration was tacked to the front door and no one was here for us to check out. The playground was all right, but there was really nothing else for the kids to do. They had put us in a site right next to the bathrooms, which meant people tromping through our site at all hours. On the plus side, it had a beautiful view. I can see why people stay here in summer.
