Very nice campground. Great indoor and outdoor pool, nice arcade and snack bar/store and nice playground. Great place to take the kids. My 4 year old still says it was his favorite place to camp! Golf carts are fun too but rates go from $14 per day off-season to like $40 per day in the summer...seems like a rip-off.
Nice sites overall, but some really tight turns. Playground equipment is pathetic and rusty and downright unsafe. Otherwise, would go back, as nice beace and nice campground.
Very nice park, but have to walk to the lake down pretty steep trails, so not very good for small children. Lots of dropoffs as well at the sites. Would go back in a minute when my kids get older.
HUGE wooded pull-thru sites, nice grills and picnic tables. Paved roads. Nice for small children since door/awning faces away from road. Swimming pool OK, but NO shade and lots of non-campers swimming there. Nice ranger-coordinated campfire with stories, marshmallows. Close to Savannah and Tybee Island. Overall, enjoyed it alot, especially the nice, big sites.
Beautiful park, nice residents, friendly staff. Two pools, clean and well maintained. Didn't have any problems with obnoxious children (all that we met said "sir" and "ma'am" and played with my three year old). Trash pickup at site. Some of the sites are VERY landscaped and pretty, all are clean and spacious. Would return again in a minute!!
