We stayed here for a week during spring break. It was very cold weather but we still enjoyed our stay. Upon check in, they were very friendly and lots on duty to help out. They have been in business since the 1920s. Their camp store was great and souvenirs were the same price as in the city. We reserved a pull-through site but when we arrived (busy week, Easter), they were all taken and we had a back in. no problems. Always people around the camp to pick up garbage, cleaning bathrooms (we didn't use), etc. We added an extra night and it was no problem. When we were leaving, we needed air in our tires and they had an air station and they even escorted us to the site. We also needed a propane (cold nights!!) fill up and they did it while we were out sightseeing. You can take the Cherry Hill bus right at the entrance to the metro but we found it even easier (and same price) for the four of us to drive (and pay, but equals the same amount) to the Greenbelt metro and jump on there. Target down the street, IKEA down the street along with Giant. Would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was the Internet...good sometimes, great others and terrible most time.
Very close to Bryce Canyon, lots to do in/around the park. Cute little “old western” village across the street for shopping and ice cream, etc. The gift store has everything and more. Would stay here again. Lots of people which also means it is a great campsite. Wi-Fi they did have but that was my only complaint. When I did laundry and sat in there, it was perfect. However, I would like it in my camper too.
First time to Yellowstone. Was very pleased with staying here. The only draw back, but not the campsite’s fault, is lack of internet and cell phone service. You can get internet at the Canyon lodge and other places in the park. Other than that, would stay here again. A bit pricy but then again, it is a national park. No complaints! One day we even saw a herd of Bison/Buffalo passing right outside our camp entrance. Great park would like to return.
Brand new owners. SUPER nice and willing to help you out with anything and everything. Would totally stay here again and would recommend it to everyone. Very quiet and just can’t say enough about the place. See for yourself.
We stayed here this past Memorial Day weekend. We had one of the new pull through sites. We absolutely loved it. It is a CAMP, after all. Yes, the regulars have golf carts, but the park is large, and they are needed. They had a lot of activities for our kids, and they enjoyed every minutes of it. The owners are trying to make it a GREAT KOA and are doing so. Every night they have fire truck rides, and Saturday night they had an WONDERFUL band playing. The jumping pillow was a lot of fun, and the little stream was lots of fun to walk through. We are looking to go back for Columbus Day, and we only live 30 minutes away!! KOA, keep doing the great updates. Internet was a bit slow, but hey, we are camping after all!
This was our first time here at Chautauqua Lake KOA. We like the KOA's. Beautiful time of year to visit with the beautiful overlook to Lake Chautauqua. The only complaint would be that there were too many seasonal around which made us feel a bit out of place. Everyone was VERY friendly. The staff was OK.
This is the first KOA we stayed in. It was AWESOME. Very friendly staff. They are right there at your site when you check in to help you out, and they check back on you. Very clean site, safe, well kept. We would definitely stay there again if we ever go to Cooperstown again. We will also definitely stay at KOA's again in the near future. Well worth the price!!
We stayed here to see Taughannock Falls (which wasn't too impressive). We drove around the camp site first looking for the check in. We had to exit the park and back track to find the park office. This should be noted when you register on line or have better signs. The office worker was VERY UNFRIENDLY and not helpful. I had to go back later in the day to get a map of the camp grounds. The sites are very tight with not much room to back in. There is NO SECURITY which I did not like. I only saw one park police drive by one time. We would NOT stay here again.
