Very well kept RV park. Some shade trees but sites w/ satellite avail. Pull throughs w/ good utilities. Interesting town, ask owner for info./map. Some very nice homes built in the 1880's. Great place to eat on left/north side of town next to a very quality gift shop. Would stay here again..
Very nice RV park! Owners very friendly and helpful. Great for a 2-3 night stay. Sites rather close to each other when slides are out. Watch out for 25mph speed zone through town. They like to write tickets! Stayed in a 40' MH. Would come to this area again. Very helpful and nice Visitor Center in town. Would stay here again.
This is our third visit to this campground in 6 years. (40' coach with slides.) Nice clean RV park. Gravel roads and sites with concrete pad and sidewalk to your unit. Also, satellite friendly. Owners friendly and helpful. Did not agree with the other reviewer who said it was noisy! Overlooks the highway into Moab, but far enough away not to be of any concern. Hope to stay here again in future visits to the fantastic area.
This was a real gem find. Very clean and well landscaped pull throughs with picnic tables and fire pits. spacious sites, beautiful large clean swimming pool, (heated), and hot tub, game room, exercise room with plenty of equipment, large library, ping pong, volley ball, pavilion, horse shoes, you name it they have it. Well stocked camp store and super friendly staff. Close to town with Wal-Mart and plenty of services. Very woodsy atmosphere but we did receive roof top satellite.
Nice Park, gravel roads and sites. Very clean well maintained quiet park. Rate is Camp USA, (1/2 price). Satellite friendly on selected sites. Fishing lake. RV storage. Laundry. Friendly staff. Train about 1/3 mi. away but few trains, not a problem. 8 miles to Columbus, GA. Close to 185 Exit. Would stay here again. Good Sam Park.
Great CG and staff! Has long 90' pull through sites. First class pool and hot tub, also a rec. room and exercise room. There is a well stocked store on site. NO TRAINS! Has two fishing ponds. (Didn't fish). You will enjoy your stay here. Camped in a 40 footer with a Passport America rate.
Don't know what the beef is by former reviewers. This was a DUDE RANCH converted to a camp ranch. Owner returned calls. Ate dinner w/ owner is very friendly. Cafe open when they have groups in. Food was very good and reasonable. Out under Texas sky, very quiet. About 1-1/4 mi. from Hwy. 84, paved roads to and into CG. Sites on slight slants, roomy, semi shaded some w/ fire pits. Verizon phone worked fine. Roof mounted satellite OK too. Stayed in 40' MH w/ pull car in one of their pull throughs. Would stay here again. Price was Passport America Member.
Park and fuel stop open under new owners. Cafe in store to reopen in 1-2 months. Very nice, neat & roomy campground w/wide streets. Level gravel sites w/ 15-18' trees. All have 30 and 50 amp. service w/ good voltage. Manager very friendly and helpful. Was glad to find this nice and reasonable park right on the main highway. Total of 96 sites all or most are pull through. Did not have to disconnect tow car. Would stay here again.
Great, great campground! Has roomy sites with concrete pads. They are Camp America and Passport members. Very clean rest rooms, showers and laundry! Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice town with a Wal-Mart, Lowes also truck stops for fuel. Three small casinos with good food. Camped in a 40 footer. Would be a ten but the wide roads to sites are gravel and dusty. Elevation is 4,000 feet: cool nights and moderate days. Look forward to returning here. They also take other discount cards. Price is Passport Member price.
Very nice campground. We travel 6 months of the year and stay in many campgrounds. This is one of the best bargains we have stayed at. Concrete pads, sewer, 50 amp. service, roof mounted satellite friendly, plenty of room between sites and well maintained. Wish there were more like this park.
Nice clean campground convenient to town. Fuel available 1 mile from campground. The owner/ host is very friendly and helpful. Palmer is a nice town, with good food and shops to visit. No problems with a 40 footer. Will return.
The most friendly and giving host/owners we ever met in over 20 years of Rving! Were greeted w/ smoked salmon and later, home made clam chowder. Group campfire, took us clamming and sightseeing in their 4x4 mule. Host and hostess are just great and the view is incredible. Stayed in 40' MH, fellow travelers in 40' foot MH felt the same.
