Many of the sites have utilities in a common/shared areas which requires extended water hoses, etc. to reach utilities. I did not have a 2nd 25' hose with me, so I needed to change sites. Office was accommodating, but many of the sites are unlevel and appear in need of maintenance. I would never stay here again.
This campground is making improvements: covered patio decks for each of the river sites in both A & B sections. Very nice. Next year they're planning on paving roads to limit dust, and to make other aesthetic improvements to buildings. Although expensive in-season, it's a fair price for off-season camping. Wi-Fi is pretty week, but does work. River sites in B section are a little deeper and a tad wider than A section, but due to 50amp service, they are more expensive.
Wonderful resort State Park. Book early to get best sites. Stayed in Site 138, which I believe is the nicest and most private one available in the park. Will definitely come back, but then again, so does everyone who stays here.
Campground is a bit quirky, but has a lot of character. Stayed overnight on way to Destin and enjoyed the brief stay. Management was very nice. Canceled return visit on day of arrival and was not charged.
Extremely well kept, small campground. Advertises as an Adult (not kid friendly) RV campground. Not the kind of campground you'd want to spend more than a day or two in, but an okay weekend getaway spot. Concern - all sites have readable meters on them and a few campers appeared to be seasonal...is this campground showing a preference for seasonal campers?
Very nice wooded campground. Better sites are unfortunately reserved for seasonal campers, otherwise they would be rated higher. Camped in a 33' Motorhome, and length was pretty tight - sites ideal for smaller campers. Managers seemed very nice.
