We spent about 10 days at this CG. This is the type of CG we prefer to stay in, we are not fond of commercial CGs. Had a young Bull Moose in our site one morning, now that's what I'm talking about. At stated the entrance could use some work and a dump station would be nice. The $20 reflect a senior pass and a second vehicle. Will stay here again.
Decent park. Park staff is friendly. If your rig is tall, watch for the trees. All sites have electric and water and a few have sewer. Pump out service is available. Located 10 miles from Ventura, best priced location in the area.
Great Park, Lake front camping with no hook-ups, not all sites havee sewer, good hikes, Indian ruins in park, friendly staff, will handle any size rig in pull-through sites. Sites are large, park has cabins and Yurts so faimly can visit. No limit on boat size allowed on lake. Rate reflects weekly rate. Will definitely stay again.
The only thing keeping this campground from being a 10 is the lack of sewer hookups. This is a Maricopa County Park and limited to a 14 day stay. The campground has some ranger led activities and great hiking trails. If you prefer the great outdoors you will love this campground.
This is a large over-55 park with all of the amenities. My wife took advantage of a lapidary class. We found the staff and residents friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. Rate was Passport America and good for seven days.
