We were traveling east on I 70 and pulled in here off the road without a reservation. We were traveling in a 42' motorhome pulling a full size truck with a motorcycle trailer behind it. Yes it is long. They were having a Holiday Rambler Rally here this weekend and only had a few sites available. Unfortunately non that we could fit on. I am not sure about the rate. Please check with them. I had to put a figure for the site to accept the review and the staff was so nice and concerned that I want other to know. The lady in the office tried her best to find us a site and took me around on her golf cart to look at them. The staff was so nice that we marked Lazy Day RV Park on our map and if we are ever in the area again, will try to make advance reservations. The only negative that I saw was the land is pretty hilly and that limits some of the sites. However it is a very nice park with shade and nice facilities and super staff. Very customer oriented. I would recommend this park to others.
The lady at the check in desk and the man taking us to our site was both very nice & polite. The park was clean. Our site had a long concrete slab but was narrow. The utilities were very poorly located. The park is in a good location, but parking is tight and limited. I was picking up a motorcycle trailer and asked about parking it for the night. The manager wanted to charge me $10 to park the motorcycle trailer over night. When I expressed my displeasure and told him that was ridiculous, he told me that if real estate was free, the parking would be free. Because of his attitude and policy, I will not stay here again and would encourage others to be weary. The manager was not customer oriented at all. Very disappointing.
