The noise at this park gets worse each time we stay here. The local neighbors partied very loudly until about 1am on Friday. This park only has one (1) shower for 152 sites so plan on a wait and maybe cold water! Barking dogs can be an annoyance also. The smokers seem to not care where they smoke or who has to breath their smoke. Some of the old park models here are rumored to have mold problems but are being sold without any warnings attached. Buyer beware!

We like this park because it is off the beaten path, and we can hike and bicycle without worry about traffic. The people here are not as friendly as most Escapees parks, but such is life. We visit here almost every year when in Yuma, AZ.

This SKP (Escapees) park is one of my favorite RV parks, as it is away from all the noise and hustle of the city, but close enough for an easy 2-3 hour shopping trip. There is an Olympic pool, a well stocked gym, pickle ball and tennis, and hiking and biking galore! Many of the people here are very friendly, and of course some are not, but SKP'ers are very much more friendly than any non-SKP park I have ever been in! Of all the parks we visit, we stay here the longest as the winter weather is so awesome here.

We have stayed here three times in the last 4 years . It is sad that this is the only campground closest to Bryce Canyon. There are ATV's running all over the place now with no control or security at all even though they said there was. Dogs are all over the place with no control of the leash and barking rules that are in effect in the park. If you walk out in the fields around the park you will probably step in dog waste. You definitely can smell the waste, which is becoming very apparent in many RV parks now because few people clean up their dogs mess if they can get away with it. We only stay here because we love Bryce Canyon, but have found another spot so will not stay here again.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds because the owners are there almost all the time and they make the smokers and pet owners strictly adhere to the rules. We camp here because we love the fresh air and the quiet times in this park. These attributes are actually becoming hard to find in most RV parks but not this one.

We have stayed here a couple of times in our travels and enjoy the location for visiting the area. The owners are great and helpful if you need help with anything. The bathrooms are some of the cleanest we have ever seen. The laundry is reasonable and the dryers dry with the first deposit. You can get to just about any attraction from here. Bicycling around here is safe also as the roads do not have a lot of traffic.

We enjoyed the quiet here at night and the close location to Duluth and the North Shore of Lake Superior. There is a nice pool to cool down in and the owners are very nice and helpful with any questions. The biggest problem we have found in this and other parks in our two years of "full-timing" is RVers not cleaning up after and not controlling their dogs. The only negative thing at this park are the fire rings as the sites are close together and your neighbors fire is only about 5 feet from your RV which creates smoke problems. We will stay here again if in the area.

We have stayed here a few times because we like the "off the beaten path" effect we have here. Things have really gone down hill though. The women's bathroom is completely shut down. The men bathroom is pretty bad also with bugs and cleanliness issues. One of the two men toilets still has an "out of order" sign on it, which was there last year also! The office seems very seldom to have anyone in it. Our electric was OK and we have been places where the 30 amp would not run our air and microwave at the same time but here it seems to work OK. Some of the picnic tables are in very bad shape. We like hiking in the Badlands, but if you are looking for that "Resort" that is advertised for this location, well it is not really here!

It is hard to describe this RV park except that it is probably the nicest RV park we have stayed at. Olympic pool, tennis court, pickle ball, gym, library, cd rentals ($0.50), and the most beautiful views you can imagine. Lots of hiking right out your back door also.

After traveling for three days from Cape Hatteras NC, we stopped paid for two nights of full hook ups here and were told by some very young and seemingly very inexperienced staff how to proceed to our assigned site. When we got to our site there was someone on it and so we tiredly returned to the office where the staff did not really seem to know what to do. They finally sent us to another site where we scrapped some trees on our roof (31C Winnebago) and then found out there was no sewer connection at this new site. We then went back to the office and requested a refund which we finally did receive and left there forever. Very inexperienced young people running this park.

Red Rock RV advertises itself as peaceful and quiet with big signs as you drive in advertising just that, which is why we picked this spot in the first place. The park has a lot of ATV’s and motorcycles so quiet does not happen all the time! There are fire rings here which are not a welcomed site at any RV park as the smoke always finds its way into your RV! I was told they allow any type of dog in this park as long as it is controlled. Park has too many dogs! This was the first RV park since we have been full timing for over a year now that seemed a little unfriendly to both my wife and me. That doesn’t really bother us but it is the first time in an RV park where no one seemed very friendly. We were kept up until 3am in the morning one night by our neighbors drinking and partying all night! I was charged $34 a day or about $900 a month, which seems very high compared to other parks about 10 miles away that charges half that rate for the same hook-ups for a month.

This RV park is probably one of the best we have stayed in and have been here many times. The owners are very nice but have strict rules that they make everyone adhere to, and they live right in the park. We will always stay here when we visit Glacier National Park, which is usually once a year.

This is a one shower, one bathroom RV park. The sewers are open with no screw fittings to attach to. The dogs run all over the place and little clean up by the dog people! The RV dog people amaze me in my 1-year of full timing. Very few clean up after their dogs, and they always seem to let them do their business in someone else's space! How inconsiderate can you get? We were actually chased into our RV by the neighbors dog right after we started setting up. We had to yell many times to get them to call their dog off! The owners do not make anyone adhere to the leash law policy. If you have PassPort America you can stay for $15, but if it is raining or wet you will need 4x4 to get out! Will not stay here again.

There are some really nice sites here but you need to know where they are or you will get stuck in a bad one! This is as close to Bryce Canyon as you can get with full hook-ups. The sewers need some work but have, I guess, for some time! We would stay again only because it is the only campground close to Bryce.

We have been full timing for over a year now and this park is so far the highest priced and the worst park we have stayed at! There are pit bulls and other types of large dogs in the park. The path to the bike trail is littered with dog excrement and no one cleans up after their dogs. There are many permanent residents who pay little attention to park speed limits etc. A local clerk in a grocery store nearby said this whole area has drug and vagrant problems. Even the park advises locking everything up at night. We will never stay here again.

We stayed a week and hiked around the Grand Canyon. Everyone was very nice and we slept very well at night. We had one neighbor that had his dog off leash but the owner quickly handled that problem. There will always be someone who wants to break the rules, and always someone who will help them learn why there are rules. Anyway, we will definitely stay here again.

This is probably the only place to stay if you have a 40 foot 5th wheel and are visiting Great Basin National Park. Sad, as it is also an overnight parking spot for road equipment and trucks that leave their trucks running all night, and as any RVer knows is not conducive to a good nights sleep! I asked about the truck noise and was basically given a shoulder shrug as an answer! We did not even use the restaurant as the cigarette smoke from the casino permeates the whole building! The casino has some really strange people and noise at times and no one seems to care about any inconvenience it causes for the RV patrons right out back! Great Basin is an awesome place to visit, but bring a smaller rig and get in to the Basin park to camp! There is absolutely nothing in this area for many many miles! This place is also a place where everyone just stops to let their dogs do their business anyplace and no clean-up policy is enforced.

We stayed here for a while and were mostly happy with our stay. The only problem was that smokers would walk around the park and you got their smoke fumes in your RV also. The pool was labeled with no smoking signs, but some of the smokers paid little attention to the signs and smoked in the pool area anyway. Board members seem to turn their heads to some of the problems that exist in this park.

We only stayed a couple of days. This park is mostly long term residents. It is still a nice park to visit, and we would stay here again.
