We had planned to stay, but did a drive through and decided not to. When I talked to the owners, they were both incredibly nice. Seemed like the kind of people who would do most anything to accommodate a guest. But, the park itself is quite "shoddy". Actually, it looked more like an old fishing or hunting camp rather than an RV park. Lots of old, trashy looking permanent units, some seemed parked wherever they could fit in. Road going through the park was very uneven and narrow. I questioned if I would even be able to maneuver my 30' unit through.

A great RV park in the middle of a wonderful area. This park is brand new (maybe a year old). Owners are very nice young couple. The park is next to a huge green field with lots of birds. Very nice and peaceful setting. Pads are level crushed gravel. Restrooms are very clean. We were here 1 week, and will most definitely stay here again.

A very quiet, peaceful park. Lots of squirrels, bluebirds, hummingbirds, and even wild turkey. I can understand the negative review of the person with a 40 footer. They need a lot of room to maneuver. Our unit is 30 foot, and we had no problem. The sites are level and have a lot of "breathing room" between them. Very friendly place. We would definitely come back!

This campground is OK if you're looking for a small, rustic, backwoods campsite close to the lake. However, if you have a large RV or trailer and want something a little more refined, this is not the place. We had reserved our site months in advance. When we got there, the only sites available were nothing more than "clearings" in the trees. All were very uneven, and virtually no clearance to maneuver our rig between the trees. A couple sites didn't even have driveways showing how to get in. We went someplace else.
