Very friendly park host. Gravel but level sites with grass between and picnic table and room to move around. Park is older but very clean and maintained. We were traveling through and stayed for one night and didn't want to unhook since we were getting an early start. The Big Texan, home of the 72 oz. steak (and other great food) offers a free shuttle to and from the park. We will stay here again.
This is a nice state park. Sites and roads are blacktop. Sites are level side to side but not fully back to front on all sites. This is a very popular park and reservations well in advance are almost a must if you want to spend more that a day or two. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Rangers and camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were there 6 days and would definitely stay there again.
This is a clean gravel park. Sites were level. Nice space between sites, which were all pull-throughs. We spent one night in route to Arizona. The location is 4 miles off the interstate and away from the railroad tracks which is a common complaint of other parks in Deming. Would stay there again.
Just to be clear, this is not a resort park. But it is quite adequate for an overnight or 2 night stay. No grass, small trees, no shade, hard packed gravel sites that are level. This type of park is somewhat normal for parks in the southwest that are located on major interstates that cater to the travelers. Free coffee and muffins in the morning. Friendly park staff and reasonable rate for full hook-ups. We stayed here 2 nights and would return again.
We spent a week at this park. Sites are clean gravel and very nicely equipped with grills. Lots of space between the campers. Restrooms were very clean and well maintained. The biggest problem with the park is that the sites are generally level side to side but many of the sites are not level back to front so if you are in a motorhome you might be sleeping in an incline. The park is very popular during winter and spring. Reservations well in advance is advised. We would camp here again.
This is a very nice state park. Rangers are friendly and the park very clean. Very quiet and out of the way. Some camp areas are crowded, but there is plenty of isolation between sites. Site were level. We were only there one night, but would love to return at some time.
This is a very clean and well maintained state park. Very little shade, but nice level sites. Restroom and shower was spotless. Campground B was the nicest. This is a very active park during the winter/spring so reservations well in advance is required. Otherwise, you will have to move around to available sites since you reserve a specific site when you make reservations.
We were fortunate to be there off season. We were able to get a pull-thru site. The other sites available at the time would have required us to back up a steep hill into the sites. Could be done, but not easy. It's located about a mile from the center of town. Could use a little TLC. Owner was friendly but I felt a little overpriced for what we got.
We spent one night here passing through on our way west. Level sites, easy access, very friendly, family owned park. There was a mix of overnighters (we were the only ones) and full timers, but that wasn't a problem at all. The office is actually a convenience store up front that is open until 10PM. The store carries breakfast tacos in the mornings that are made in their own restaurant. I highly recommend them.
The park has cabins and RV sites. It is very crowded. We were there in the off season so we didn't have any problems, but, it if was full, I don't know where you would park. It would also make it very difficult to move the rig in and out of your space without having other people move their vehicles. Spots by the front were very noisy with traffic. The good part is that they were very friendly. We also moved to the back of the park the second night. Those sites back up to the National Forest which is awesome.
We spent one night at the RV park on our way through. Very friendly owners. No shade available on the daily/weekly sites but they were nice and wide with grass. Also recommend the breakfast burrito. Easy access in and out. The store was very well stocked.
