The staff was friendly and switched language from French to English with ease, as I do not speak a lick of French. The directions to the sites were clear and concise. The site was very large and level under a couple of trees where bird feeders were set up at the end of the site which goldfinch and woodpeckers used, not leaving droppings on our camper, making things good. The hookups were close and easy. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained . We would definitely stay here again.

I will start this review by noting this is a tourist campground in a tourist town. This campground is designed to hold a lot of people and the rates are high, but when I checked hotel rates, they were much higher. The staff was friendly but extremely busy as we were not the only ones coming in. They were attentive but you could tell a little tired. Kids must wear bands while walking around the campgrounds and the girl wrote a different site number on the bands than she wrote another on our car pass. This became an issue on the last night when the staff asked what site we were given. Turns out the site we were on was reserved but we were not asked to move and things were okay. The site was large, with room for our 10x10 canopy and other items. The hook ups were easy to access and there are 3 pools, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor. The bathrooms were well maintained, not an easy task with the large crowd. If we were to travel this way again, we would stay here.

The staff was friendly and helpful placing us in a large back in site. The site was huge, as on the one side the neighbor was near but not close, while on the other the neighbors were far away. We could have put up 5 or 6 10x10 canopies but since we just have the one, that is what we put up. The hook ups were close and easy to set up. There was a fire ban so we were not able to have a fire. I will note there are two buildings with bathrooms, the main lodge had more than enough showers and stalls but the other building has one mens and one womens along with one handicap. There were only two showers and only one had a lock. This is a problem, for when the main lodge was being cleaned you were limited on choices. The town of nearby Cookstown has everything you need. We would stay here again.

The staff was friendly, quickly changing their language from French to English, as I did not speak a word of French. The site was easy to find and level, though the hooks are a little strange, being far from where we can park the camper. All of our hoses and cords were stretched to their limits. The sewer hook up was right at the edge of the next site, which was occupied. The site was large enough for us to put up a 10x10 canopy with room to spare. Bathrooms were well maintained and there were plenty of stalls and showers. One caution I will impart is that the campground hands out a plastic key card to get in and out of the grounds which you must leave a $5.00 deposit. Somehow this was lost in the packing and we found it at the next campgrounds. A terrible system but it is how they do it. The grounds are a bit more designed to get campers in and out, not having the outdoor personal touch. This is not terrible as we were traveling to and from of Quebec City. We would stay here again.

We arrived late where we quickly found an envelope with our name and information. The directions to our site were easy to follow which enabled us to set up quickly and settle in for the night. The site was large enough for us to set up a 10x10 canopy and level with good access to the hookups. In the morning we were quickly checked in where the staff was friendly and courteous. The bathrooms are clean and spacious, with each being it's own private room. We would stay here again.

The campground staff is friendly and helpful. We arrived asking for a new site since I made the mistake of booking the wrong type of site and did not realize this. The woman at the front quickly gave us a new site and we were off. The sites are level and easy to hook up to with a lot off space. They are pricey but we had to remember we were in a tourist town and the hotels were far more outrageous. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Bring plenty of bug spray as the mosquitoes arrive in hordes as the sun goes down. We would stay here again if we were to decide to go to Bar Harbor again.

The staff is friendly and helpful but this where any upside ends. The sites are more than small, we were not able to extend our canopy and cooking meals outside was an adventure. We had to move our car from our site to satellite parking to allow other campers to pull out of their sites. This campground crams everyone in like sardines and is not up to KOA standards. We will not stay here again and do not recommend it.

We stayed during the beginning of July. The campground may have once been far outside the town but the town has grown though the campground feels as if it still out on it's own. The weather was warm and pleasant, the mornings mosquito free but at 5:00ish they seemed to swarm for an hour or so. The staff is is pleasant and the staff helpful maintaining the campgrounds very well. The sites are large and spacious giving us more than enough room. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious and well laid out. The mornings are pleasant and mosquito free which cannot be said for the evenings where we were inundated. The view from the campgrounds is stunning looking out at Mount Elbert. We would stay here again.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the sites are large and spacious, well groomed. There may be no pool but there are two hot tubs to enjoy. Note that the campground is on the top of a hill and exposed to the wind and elements but no mosquito's and the fabulous view make up for the this. We would definitely stay here again.

We traveled here Labor Day Weekend. The staff was helpful, getting us to our site in a timely manner. The roads in the campgrounds are narrow and tricky to maneuver. Our site gave us plenty of room but the campgrounds were crowded and there were lines at the washrooms not having enough to accommodate the crowd they had on hand. We were close to the activities we had planned, paintball, the Garlic Festival and the river so this was an ideal location. The sites are close together so there is constant noise or activities around you. I would stay here again as this is a better campground than a couple others we stayed at in the area.

We stayed here because of its central location to Niagara Falls and the area. The sites for the travel trailers and motorhomes are grass and level. Tenters need to beware as the sites may not be level; check before accepting a site. (Stayed in a tent years ago but they have not changed.) Not enough bathrooms for the quantity of campers, and the bathrooms are not the cleanest, but okay. Dish washing stations are in the bathrooms so you are limited. We arrived late and found night registration easy. Would not rush to go back and with other options in the area we will try these first.

The staff was nice to me as the person paying but my children found them a little gruff. We stayed two nights, enjoying the pool and using the laundry room, both very well kept. The grounds are maintained well and overall this was a good place to stay.

This place is definitely for families and groups who plan to stay at the park for the entire stay. The pool has much too much chlorine, the sites are small and you cannot be shy or modest as the shower curtains do not cover. Hook ups were good but we will not stay here again.

We stayed as a one night stop. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were led to our site which was shaded by trees. The grounds were comfortable and quiet, perfect for a good nights sleep.

This is a very good place to stay, right in the middle of all the attractions, being all are at great distance between each. The bathrooms are clean but there are not enough for the number of campers staying on the grounds. 3 for the men and 3 for the women. There was a line each morning starting early. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is skunk weed around the grounds, which can cause your nose to wrinkle if the wind blows in the right direction. All the sites had trees and were level. The grounds were not crowded together and we were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here two nights finding the staff friendly and helpful. The sites have plenty of room allowing us enough space to play bean bag toss. Bathrooms are clean, the pool well maintained and we were close to all the sites and events we came to see. We would definitely stay here again.
