Definitely only a stop over park. One night is about all it's worth. Lots of road noise and traffic driving through rather fast at times. Office person was borderline rude, didn't seem very thrilled to have his Saturday "bothered" by us paying customers. Wires above site bounced in the wind all night so much so my wife thought they'd hit the top of the trailer. Think one of those Christmas tree lots with poles stumped in the ground everywhere and wires going from pole to pole. Next time through we'll look elsewhere.

We stayed at the RPI rate. The hosts were very friendly but the campground is confusing. I'm told it's set up the old way which is each rig faces a different way, which we've never seen before. Water pressure is good and high so I'd suggest using a regulator. Pool was closed for the winter, we were told that they had washers but the building said it was closed for the winter as well. Yes there is some highway noise but nothing outrageous and better than most we've stayed at in AZ. There have been 2 trains so far but if you want absolute quiet then I guess you need to boon dock or stay home since most parks are by some kind of noise. Very close to caverns and the Bourbon Trail which if you take the trail you'll not care about any noise afterward! Nice mid-range park, nice views, not a gravel parking lot like most we've stayed in. We'd stay again.

I've got to say I've not been in a more scary park than this in quite a while! There are several full time residents mostly in broken down rigs including one old school bus with boarded up windows and duct tape everywhere. There are satellite dishes nailed to the trees at empty sites that are not functional for one reason or another, they've just been abandoned by their owners. The place is littered with cigs and debris and just gives you a creepy feeling (per wife and son). The road to this place is VERY narrow and windy: we almost dropped the trailer off the edge a couple times when cars/trucks came the other way. The entrance road is STEEP, as soon as you turn off the paved road you drop down into a bowl of sorts where this "campground" is located. Took every bit of torque my Duramax had to get the trailer back up to the paved road when we left. The owner was nice enough and informed me that after this month he's pulling out of Passport America so it'll be $24 a night. I would be afraid to leave my rig to go anywhere, so we left. Unless you've really, really got to have a cheap site, I'd not suggest this one.

We LOVED this park. It was our first after having just bought our RV and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction into the RV life! Clean facilities, helpful people and absolutely LEVEL! We're headed there right now as my son has been bugging me to stop there again so my wife can see it. FREE laundry? WAHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Starting to look run down, what they call streets are potholed and full of gravel/dirt. Definitely gives a low end trailer park feel. Constant stink from either septic gas or cow feed lots or on bad days both. There are permanent lot owners here and some have allowed their sites to get trashy. The saving grace are the people in the park. We have not met any that we would want to avoid. Power is reliable, Wi-Fi is not and over the air reception is spotty. Can get very windy and very dusty at times. Fees for everything other than the space. The Workamper staff keep the restrooms and laundry clean and do their best. I was told this is the best park in the system, kind of scary if that's true.

Let me start this with the fact they had a flash flood a few days ago that wiped out the main entry bridge that allows easy entrance for bigger rigs into camping spots. They seem to be working on it but I'd bet it'll be a while before it's done. It is possible for trailers as long as you can make a sharp cut but would be work for a Class A. That being said this is an "OK" park for an overnight stay while driving through but probably not a place I'd stay if I had younger kids. There are several permanent campers (aka people living here) that reflect the economy of the area, the office and "store" are old and well worn and the management was definitely friendly. There were many of the permanent campers hanging out on the front porch of the office/store and to be honest it creep-ed out my wife. There is some highway noise from I-5 but it is not horrible. We did not use the restrooms or showers due to creep factor. All in all it's a quick stay while passing through and for the price it's an OK type place, more a $10 park than a $15.
