Lajitas, Texas Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort

Great campground for this part of Texas. Manager very friendly and professional. He has been here this year and is making multiple improvements. Beautiful golf course resort with shopping and eating facilities. Drive west on FM 170 is very scenic. I would recommend this park for visiting the Big Bend and surrounding areas.

This is a great park. Very friendly staff. We stayed in the big rig sites number 207. The only problem was that there were thousands of bugs in the area of that site. We are now trying to get rid of them.

Roads accessing this resort are a challenge. Although there are numerous waterfalls in the area, there is not much to do in the area. The sites in this Outdoor Resort are much closer together and have less privacy than the others where we have stayed. Nice resort if you are just looking for a place to relax and chill out.
Meridian, Mississippi Benchmark RV Park

Nice park I would recommend for an overnight off I-20. Convenient on and off. Not much to do in Meridian. No pool and not any shade. Very hot when we stayed there.

This is a great campground. The people are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely use this as an over night stay between Dallas and Amarillo.
