This place is great. We are lakefront (site #43) in a pull-through site on a concrete slab. The lake view and woodsy view are equally fabulous. The rate for a FHU can't be beat. There's plenty of grass for the dog at our site and plenty of room to take walks. There's a beach, but we didn't walk to it, so can't comment. The cable worked well, and we had good Verizon connection. Shopping and restaurants are close. We would definitely camp here again.

I was concerned about this park because we booked last minute without reading reviews. Once I read the bad reviews I expected problems. I can honestly say we didn't encounter what the previous posters did. The registration person was friendly & helpful. We didn't hear the bus & RV noise, but we also weren't in the 100# campsites. After a hard rain, there weren't any more puddles than would be expected. We walked around to inspect. I also didn't see rules posted everywhere, and I looked for them. The rules were normal rules and were on the park map/information sheet that is given at registration. Our site didn't have shade, but a lot of sites do. Our site was a little harder to level, but not a big deal. Other sites looked level. Cable worked fine, however the WiFi was slow so I used my own. There was plenty of space between sites. There is a shuttle that the desk can arrange to take you downtown if you don't want to drive. Opryland Hotel and restaurants are nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

We really liked this campground. It was clean, quiet, and had well-spaced, gravel sites that were level. The design was good for navigating in a large rig. There was plenty of shade and woods are surrounding it with a path. We were able to get satellite reception. I did not use their WiFi, so can't comment. There was plenty of room to walk the dog, with a large field at the entrance. The rate reflects a GS discount. We would stay here again. Actually we wanted to stay longer but couldn't. We camped here in a motorhome.

We thought this was an exceptionally nice, clean cg. There was plenty of room to drive in and park. There was also plenty of room between sites, and they were level. Ours wasn't shaded, but some sites had shade. We had a nice view of a cornfield, and there was a nice, wooded area for views and walking. The Wi-Fi was strong & fast. The rate is the avg. between 2 nights Passport & 1 night GS. We stayed during the week, but understand it is very busy on the weekend. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a Passport America RV Park with no blackout days, which is nice because we stayed on a weekend. The site was level, and we had a nice view of the river. It was quiet and very convenient to the cute town. It is in a nice neighborhood with sidewalks for walking. The weather had cooled, so the fact it didn't have 50 amp needed to run both a/c's wasn't a problem. We would stay here again.

If you are looking for a serene, peaceful, great campground, then this is it. It's approximately 15-20 minutes south of Escanaba. The sites are large and level. Some of them are lakefront (Lake Michigan) and others have a view. There is a new section opening soon with all 50 amp that will have easy access for large RVs. The CG is surrounded by woods. The CG host is wonderful and takes pride in "his" spotless bathrooms (and they are!!). He truly treats this as if it's his CG. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is no sewer hookup. We had good satellite & Verizon WiFi reception. We would absolutely camp here again. We loved this place.

This campground has a lot of seasonal/permanent rigs. Probably about 50%. At first glance we weren't sure about it, but it turned out to be an okay place. It was very quiet, and the people were friendly. The river ambiance was nice, and our site was level. The rate for full hook-ups can't be beat. Cash or check as they do not take credit cards. Some kids were here, so kids are welcome, but no playground or pool. Most of the people were older. We would stay here again.

I can't find 1 negative thing to say about this cg. It is immaculately kept. The sites are grass, roomy, and fairly level with some trees. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There are two large playgrounds and a volley ball net/area. Some sites are pull-through with a nice view. The WiFi is strong and works well. The rate reflects a GS discount. We stayed here 1 night, but would have liked to stay longer. We would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the nicest state parks I've ever stayed in. It is so clean and peaceful. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because there aren't sewer hook-ups. Other than that, it's a perfect place to stay. The Indian village and Custer's house are here and worth the tours. There are plenty of walking/biking paths and plenty of spaces to walk the dog. We would definitely stay here again.

This was an okay campground, not fancy, but okay. We stayed 1 night while passing through. The sites are pull-through, dirt, and pretty level. There is a large field with a walking path along a canal leading to a river. There is plenty of room to walk a dog. We didn't use their Wi-Fi, so can't comment on if they had any or how it worked. The campground takes cash only. We would stay here again.

We really liked this campground. The location is excellent for visiting Custer SP and Mt. Rushmore, and is close to grocery stores and restaurants in Custer. There aren't a lot of shaded sites, but there are some. If our site had been shaded, I would have rated it a 10. The WiFi worked really well. There is plenty of grass and space to walk the dog, and there's space between the sites.

Nice park. Our site wasn't shaded, but there are some sites with shade. Owner escorted us to our site. Level, gravel site was a pull-through. Nebraska City is a cute small town. Beautiful state park in the town. Omaha is an easy drive: about 45 minutes to 1 hour. We would stay here again. Rate is after tax added and with GS discount.

This an extremely nice, clean, well-run county park. It is easily accessed from I-70 and is close to shopping/restaurants. This CG is about 30 minutes from Kansas City. There is a lake nearby for swimming/boating. The landscape is quite pretty and serene with nice views. We had deer almost in our backyard. We stayed here for 3 nights, and most definitely would stay here again. Our rate reflects a senior discount (62+) of $2.00 per night.

This is a really nice city-run park with on-site security. It is a new park, and there are plans to add things to it and make it even better. It is exceptionally clean. The biking/walking path around the lake is a bonus. You can also fish (I think it's catch and release). The park has easy access to Hwy. 370, and is an easy 20-30 minute drive to St. Louis. The towns of St. Peters and St. Charles are close with shopping and restaurants. The way the park is built with large berms, you'd never know the highway is near. It's like you're removed from the city. We would definitely stay here again. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is that there is no shade whatsoever, however we did have some lake view even though we had a back-in site not on the lake.

We liked this park. The desk person (owner?) was very nice, and she escorted us to our site. It is very pet friendly with a nice dog park. This park has easy access to I-24, and it is an easy drive into downtown Paducah. We decided to stay an extra day. We would stay here again.

This is a clean, quiet, shady campground with easy access right off I-75. The back-in sites closest to the parking lot have a nice view. This is a really nice campground for a very affordable price. We would stay here again.

This is a very quiet and clean campground. The sites are shaded and surrounded by woods. There are also nice, large cabins available just a short walk from the campsites. We will definitely camp there again.
