Great view of the river. The restaurant in the casino is very good. Try the Beale Street Chicken. Shower layout was best I have seen.

Urban setting. Next to shipping canal so if you walked up to the levee, you could watch some major ships go by. Staff was very helpful. They gave great directions for getting to Mardi Gras and the restaurants they recommended were excellent.

Friendly owners. When I asked about nearby restaurants, they invited me to a community chili night. Very convenient to highway so some noise, but not too bad.
