This is a beautiful park that I'd highly recommend. I've learned that new owner's took over the park May of 2011 and have been doing a lot of upgrades since, like the beautiful pool area, the clubhouse and the large pavilion suitable for large events. The pull through sites are long enough for two 45' rigs! While families are welcome, there is not much for young ones to do. There are tennis courts and a couple shuffle board courts. There is also a very large addition being built as I type this, 300 new sites are being added in a beautiful wooded area immediately adjacent to the existing park. They expect that new area to be open July of 2012.

I stayed a week in the "Preserve" section, which is type A restricted. There is NOT shade available in the Preserve (with a few exceptions). The Wi-Fi is NOT free. The park has great potential, but with relatively few lots sold, the landscaping was relatively sparse at the time of my visit (this is definitely different from the "Town Park" or older, less restrictive side of the park, but the sites there are very narrow and some have significant slopes to enter the site). The Preserve side is on the river and there is an extremely beautiful trail that parallels the river. There is a great off leash dog park available to all guests and a restaurant right on site. The people were very friendly. Its a great home base if visiting the area for any reason.

What may pass as a "5 star" campground in central Indiana would be considered nothing more than a convenient rest stop by most. The so called lake, no doubt, was created by the Indiana DMV when they excavated to create the freeway overpass immediately adjacent to the park. It's very conveniently located for us as an overnight stop over and we've used it many times for that purpose, but we'd never use it as a destination. We've found the owners to be friendly, and you'll find pull through sites to fit the largest of rigs. The location of the hookups is very weird on many sites, however, being widely spread apart. I'll either have to use an extension cord to reach the power post, or I'll need 30' of sewer hose, should I need to dump. In many of the sites the sewer pipe is so far towards the rear of the site that once I pull far enough forward to get our toad out of the road, again, I'll need 30' of sewer hose. There is one bath / shower building and it's a LONG way from the majority of the pull through sites. I agree that the park is kept clean. Also, be aware that if a lot of rain is expected, some of the pull through sites will turn into 'lakes'. In conclusion. A great and convenient over night stop, but doesn't meet our standards for a place to spend time.

We are camped here as I write this. There are 'big rig' pull through sites, but they are close together and not particularly level. Several rigs, including ours, have the front wheels off the ground. The park is attractive and kid friendly with a large playground area. The Wi-Fi works great. The doggy off leash area mentioned on their web site is about 30' X 40' in size. I would be concerned about getting a big rig through the park to the big sites on a busy weekend. Some of the trees need trimming and if all the sites were full I may not have had the option to swing out around them.
