We had a nice shaded spot, full hookups, pull through. Everything worked fine, the bathrooms and laundry room were clean. Not much space between sites. Trains run day and night but do not blow their whistles. There is some road noise from the interstate. If your camper is well insulated and you run a small fan for white noise, you'll hardly hear it. It's convenient to Walmart, the fairgrounds, Bear River Walk, and a couple of restaurants in walking distance. The Wi-Fi was flaky. We would return to this park.

Agree with previous review. This park now has Wi-Fi. It is a long way from town and food.

Agree with previous reviews. What you don't know until you get here, is that using your A/C will cost you an extra $3.50 per day and using the cable TV will also cost you another $3.50 per day. There is no Wi-Fi and I doubt there ever will be. Bathrooms are outdated but appeared clean. Laundry room has 2 washers and one dryer. Interior roads are skinny and rough in spots. Not bad for one night if you don't care about A/C, cable TV or Wi-Fi.

Agree with previous reviews. Shade is scarce but it was cool when we were here. Bathhouse was ok but could use updating. Laundry could use cleaning and updating too.

I had to clean the plastic bottles out of the fire pit and there were lots of cigarette butts on the ground too. No sewer sites so okay for a few days. Didn't use shower facilities but they looked fairly clean. No shade at our site.

The best campground we found in the Upper Peninsula. We stayed a week, so rate reflects the weekly rate. I would like them to have more trees, but I am a fan of shade. We will come back here again.

Agree with previous reviews. Only plus was very shady. Quiet after the kids left. Spotty AT&T cellphone service. We paid $47 a night. Was that a weekend rate? I don't know.

Mostly seasonals. Not well laid out for RVs. We were told it was laid out for park models. No shade. Hamburgers at bar/grill were fair. Good for one night only. Didn't use restrooms. Too expensive for what you get.

It's a former KOA, rather hard to get to unless you have been there before. Situated next to a 24 hour Walmart, not far off US 287. Check-in person was very pleasant and friendly. She did her best to accommodate our wishes for a shady site. It has a swimming pool, but we didn't use it. Showers are very clean. The big negative for this park is the train noise all night long. Bring earplugs! Okay for an overnight stay.

Mostly construction workers and long term residents. Train whistles all night long kept us awake.

Adequate for a night or two. Sites were pull through and we had no one on either side of us. No real shade to speak of, even though there were some trees. Owner pushed the restaurant but it was disappointing. My steak was overcooked, chewy, and tasteless but spouse's ribs were good. Only heard one train horn during the night, which is unusual in this part of the country. Little store was pretty well stocked. Bathroom had quite a bit of sand in it, but it otherwise appeared clean. Didn't use showers.
