Very nice! Buses stop in front of office making it easy and less costly to visit downtown San Antonio points of interest. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Great host. Gave me a ride around in a golf cart allowing me to pick the site I wanted. I didn't see a bad one. Just a matter of which side your awning and hook ups are on and if you want the sun shining on you or not. This Camp is only an hour or so from us. We will be back. Golden Passport honored here.
We had the park to ourselves because the train wasn't scheduled to run on the two days we were there. The assistant camp host came by and invited us to tour the train restoration facilities which was very interesting and a pleasant surprise. I don't remember the exact rate but it was very reasonable so I put $15.00.
Golden Passport honored here so the cost was $10.00 per night. We had a wonderful view of Waco Lake. The water was maybe 20 feet below us and the end of the trailer was just a few feet from the bank. The bathrooms were not fancy but well kept. Each picnic table is on concrete and is covered.
