Small but great park. The park is snug, but the owners, staff are great help when getting into your site. The owners are what make this RV park great. They do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. Park is close to Helen and a 2 hour drive to the Smokies for day trips. We loved it there.
Nice RV park. All the roads are gravel and the sites are gravel. Some leveling is needed on sites. Some sites are very close together and some are far apart. All sites seem to be easy to get into. Most are pull through. We got a good one. The one thing is the management here is great!!! They were actually glad to see us and it showed. I wish other owners/management was as good as this place. It is very close to Mammoth Cave. We would stay here again.
This is a great RV park. They have sites from primitive to full hook ups with concrete pads and patios. The handicapped sites where double wide concrete with a patio. "It don't get no better than this." We did not use the bathhouse, did look and they where clean. The only problem we had was an unusual amount of rain, 4 inches, brought the lake up to a level 2 ft below campground evacuation levels. So we had to keep a cell phone with us in case the rangers wanted us to evacuate. That didn't happen. Wi-Fi was great and free. Rangers where great. The whole experience was great. We would definitely stay again.
This is a new park and is well laid out. We had lot of rain and our site became a lake, there was about 2 inches of water around under and around our RV. I had to make walk way to our steps with one of my leveling boards. From what I could tell there were only few site that had standing water. The next day the water was gone. I'm sure management would have moved us if we would have asked. Roads are gravel and sites are gravel and level. Our site did not need to be adjusted. All sites are easy to get into. We had a pull through. The campground has two Wi-Fi antennas of which only one worked. I was able to get a weak signal from the front antenna by moving my computer around. The Wi-Fi is free. There is a lot of stuff for the kids at this campground. And, is a great place to stay if you are here for Niagara Falls. The falls are only two or three miles away.
Park is well maintained with large sites. Site was level and required no adjustment; sites are mostly grass. Word of advice, most GPS systems lead you to the other side of the interstate, follow the directions given by the campground. Our site was a back in and ease to get into. Most sites where pull throughs. We have seen comments about interstate noise, yes you can hear it, we didn't have a problem with it. There was more noise from all the gas powered golf carts. Wi-Fi is available, but pay as you go. Time is sold by the clock hour not time on line. I paid $3.15 for 8 hrs. If you buy time, get it in the morning unless you are a night owl. We would stay there again.
Campground sites are grass and gravel, mostly level, some sites do need leveling. Ours was a pull through and did not need leveling. Well wooded sites. Roads are gravel, but in good shape. Campground is well maintained. Did not use the bathhouse and did not look. Wi-Fi worked well and is free. Owners require proof of Good Sam membership for discount. We would stay again.
Park is fairly well maintained and very quiet. The night skys are breath taking. Some roads are paved some are gravel and gravel ones are in good shape. We had a very wooded site. It turned cold here at nights so we should have taken a sunny site. There are many sites that are concrete with patios. The sites have great separation. We got a gravel site which was not level, but did not take much to level up. I'm not the greatest at back ins, but easily got into our site. Price is right for the area and is very comparable to other campgrounds. Did not use the baths, but did look. They are aged, but very clean and well maintained. If back in this area again we would stay here again.
Gravel/Sand sites mostly level; very little adjustment needed. Some sites are very hard to get into; if you can get a pull through get one. The park is very well maintain and beautiful. The area is on a salt water marsh and as the tide goes out the marsh smell comes in. Fortunately for us the winds were not coming our way and we only smelled the marsh on entering the park. Great park we would come here again.
The park is very clean and quiet. We did not use the showers, but if I where to pay $40 I would think I would not have to pay as you go for a shower, they are fairly clean. The management, or the people in the office, where friendly if you made the effort to be friendly with them. They where very dry until you got them talking. The sites are grass/gavel and most seem to be level. We have heard this was a very busy park, but we stayed in September so most of the summer folks had already left. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
Roads and lots are mostly gravel. Lot we stay on was recently re-graveled and leveled. We stayed in a pull through that had a wonderful view of a valley. I would recommend this park.
We stayed here two days in a lakeside lot. I had to ask a guy to move his vehicle to get back into my assigned site. Other than that the management and staff are great and the park is very well maintained. My wife wanted to stay an extra day. I would recommend it.
