It has mostly full time residents. We just spent the night and moved on. It is right off the highway and there is a truck stop and a Walmart and McDonald's. On the downside, it is right off the highway and there is a lot of truck noise from the trucks engine breaking on the exit ramp. Everyone was friendly and the camp was clean and in good repair.
Nice park but not designed for campers. There are 2 maybe 3 sites that can accommodate a trailer. There are no hook ups and they close the gate at 2000 until 0600. Nice park to visit and maybe if you camp in a tent it's fine but not for a camper. No alcohol allowed in the park if that's a consideration for you.
Great park. We were just passing through in the off-season but I can imagine it would be a lot of fun in the summer. It was clean and well-maintained. There is a restaurant at the lodge and while the food was excellent, the menu was a little thin. We toured one of the caves as well and it was worth the 9 bucks.
