This is a quaint little park about 8 miles SE of Pagosa with a very friendly staff. We had a great experience and would return again. Though there is no pool, there is a large hot tub which came in handy. Our kids also tubed the stream for several hundred yards and enjoyed that. I do wish they had cable, but other than that it was very enjoyable.
This park had a very nice set up and the staff was extremely friendly. There was nice spacing with grass in between pads and the Wi-Fi service was strong. This park sits on the north end of town, and, though it is not on the Arkansas River, it does have very nice mountain views out all sides. It also has a nice play scape and swing set for kids, and has some neat cycle-carts you can rent for them. I would definitely camp here again
This park was very clean and well set up. The only reason I did not give it a 10 is there is not privacy screening (trees/shrubs) between you and the next pad. There is lots of room, the clubhouse is very nice and clean, the pool is nice, and the price is outstanding. The staff was friendly also. One other potential downside is that it is out of town a little ways (several miles) so if you are not heading east/west through Amarillo it might not be very convenient.
The park was very clean and had great play space for kids including a neat natural rock area, play scape, pool, and game room. I would have given it an 8, but the Wi-Fi service was poor - I was trying to work remotely and could not get a good signal from my camper. I would literally have to walk and sit outside near the shower area (within 20 yards) to get decent coverage. I camped several other places where this was not a problem, so it was not my computer. The sites are very close together. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We checked out a day early and they would not refund the measly $22 from the weekly rate, but apparently "no refunds" was in the fine print. Nevertheless, this left me with a bad taste.
