Went here for Easter and had a good time with the family. The spots were very unlevel and very close to one another and erosion seems to be an issue in many of the spots. We camped in the newer northern section. The restrooms and showers were fairly clean. The campground was nice and clean even though this weekend it was full. Trash pick up seemed to happen every morning. There were lots of trails for bike riders and hikers. WiFi did not work very well at all regardless of what time we tried to use it.

We got here after dark and it was hard to find our site because there was no check in station and no one to get a map from. When we did find the site, it was a little difficult to pull in the small slots. Our site was great with a view of the lake and within walking distance of the showers. The showers and restrooms were very clean and heated. The lake here holds the Mississippi state record bass. We did not do any fishing but it looks really nice. No Wi-Fi and we could not even get cell phone service in loop B by the lake. Overall very nice campground especially for fishermen.

Great state park here. We stayed for a weekend here, and it was right after this area had serious rain for about 2 weeks. We has site #3, and it was mostly soggy and the woods right behind it were flooded but that's to be expected. The pier and beach area were very nice. There were many deer and hogs to be seen during the day and at night crossing the roads. The concrete bike trail was really cool. It was about a 4 mile ride from the site to a nice restaurant by bike. The restrooms were clean and in good order. We would come back for sure.

Very nice and clean campground, and the employees were very helpful with backing in our trailer. The pool was very clean and so were the restrooms. Be aware that there are long term working residents and people who use the park as a camp. There is not a whole lot for kids to do here, but it is an overall nice campground.

We stayed here during the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was great.There is a good distance between sites, and we had site 129 right on one of the lakes and had wonderful weather. The river is great even at this time of the year, and all the trails were well kept and clean. The showers and restrooms were clean and in good working order. Nice park for kids; hiking and biking trails, fishing ponds, tubing and canoeing on the river make for lots of stuff for kids to do. Great place, and I will return for sure.
