The rate reflects Passport America. This campground needs a lot of updating. I can't say for sure but I believe Passport America clients are placed in what I would call the 'low rent district.' I know we were. There are a number of permanent residents. Some are nice, others look like dirty run down junkyards. Our site was not level (#93) and we were given a spot near the horse stalls with all its lovely aromas complete with flies! They mucked the stalls at dinner time and ran the truck right in front of the sites: where others were bbq-ing their dinners! YUM!
We stay here every time we pass through Kingman, AZ. The sites are spacious, neat and level. It is easy on, and easy off the freeway which makes this a great stop for an over night. It is quiet with minimal noise from the road or the truck stop located in front of the park. We've stayed here at least 5 or 6 times, and we will again. The staff is always polite, knowledgeable and helpful. We had tire troubles the last time we were there and they recommended a place for us.
It is a very nice park. It is quiet. We stayed one night. It is a large park that's nicely spread out. Sites are roomy, the staff was very helpful and guided us to our spot. The guide directed my husband into our site - too close to the hookups for our slides to open properly. I prefer to do this job for this very reason. Directions to this campground are correct, however trying to pinpoint what town this campground is actually in is not so easy. One place says Danville, MO, another says Montgomery City. This makes it a bit difficult to program your GPS.
We've stayed at this campground 3 or 4 times. This is a great overnight park, the sites are mostly level but close together. There's enough room to open slides but it still has an almost a 'crowded' feeling. It is a bit pricey for what you get. It is quiet, with minimal road noise. They offer outdoor meals as you check in, but we've never participated. The staff is not very knowledgeable about RV repair shops. We needed help with a tire problem and were recommended to a facility for cars. The parking lot was small and the shop was obviously not equipped to handle RV repairs of any kind.
This is a beautiful park. Almost every site is shaded and mostly secluded. Because of this, we couldn't get any satellite reception, however we had excellent internet with our Verizon aircard. Sites are mostly level, some sites slope more than others. Security was excellent but not invasive. The showers were spotless. All the sights of Nashville are within a short drive. We will stay here again!
This is a very nice, well groomed park. Staff was extremely knowledgeable, polite and helpful. It is convenient and within walking distance to all the Elvis attractions. It is located behind the Heartbreak Hotel. We did not use the showers or restrooms, but the laundry room was immaculate and all the machines were in good condition. This park provides information for a round trip shuttle to Beale Street for a small $10 fee per person. Well worth it! You can eat, have a drink and not worry about having find parking or to drive through town. While this park is very nice, it is not, however, in a very good part of town.
This campground is not a destination park but is perfect for an overnight stay. It's right off the highway, easy to find and easy access back onto the highway. We heard very little road noise, however it was summer and we were using our air conditioner. No staff was available at any time during our overnight stay. A locked box was at the registration building for tenants to drop their payments into. As stated previously, within walking distance there is access to a restaurant from the RV campground. We ate there and the food was decent. I would use this campground again for an overnight stay.
This park was clean, staff is friendly and the sites are mostly level. Convenient to Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam. Would stay here again if in the area. *NOTE* They do NOT have wireless internet as stated.
We echo the comments of previous posters. This is a beautiful place and very convenient to Zion National Park. The sites are well kept and manicured. We did not utilize the pool or the showers. However, we did use the Wi-Fi and had no problems with it. We do have a couple comments - not complaints. It rained one night while we were there and we had to step out onto wet dirt the next morning due to the pads being a bit narrow. This could easily be fixed by adding a trim of the decorative rocks they use for landscaping. The second issue is that the picnic tables are at the very rear of the site, in the hot desert sun with no shade, at least ours had no shade. This could be very hot during summer. The tables are also very near your neighbor's sewer hookup. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful and extremely friendly. We would have no problem in returning to this resort when in the area! We give this place 5 stars!
Excellent park. We WILL be back! Staff is wonderful and very friendly. This park is #1 in our book! Yellowstone National Park entrance is very close. Park is close to very quaint town with cute stores and nice restaurants.
Good size sites. Pull-thru's are large. Campground is dirt and gravel, some sites very unlevel. The whole campground needs grading. I would suggest bringing lots of leveling equipment, even if you have levelers. Too windy to leave awnings open if you're out sightseeing. Beautiful scenery, staff is VERY nice and helpful. Entrance to Glacier National Park is very close. Some tours pick you up right at the office. We will stay here again if we're in the area.
Excessive fee for service provided. Extremely poor customer service. Personnel were not in control of park and were not helpful at all in helping us locate a suitable spot. Some sites that are assigned to larger rigs are too small with low hanging branches. Shore power in some sites are on passenger side. We were assigned 3 sites before we took control and found one that wasn't already occupied. Was a waste of money! We won't be back!
