If you like camping this is for you. It's on the lake with hiking and biking trails, a boat ramp, fishing and town is close by. We camped here in a fifth wheel with slides on both sides and had plenty of room. The sites on both sides were far enough away to feel private. We recommend My Fathers Cafe in McCall for hot fudge sundies. We loved it here and will deffinently return. They now have a section that is full hook up for a little more per night. We stayed here for a week and it was real quiet but fills up on the week ends.
We loved this park. The people were wonderful and the setting in the trees was beautiful. We stayed here in a fifth wheel and it was easy to get in and out. You can take a walk right behind the park on national forest land. It's close to Sunset Crater Volcanic Monument and Walnut Canyon National Monument. We will stay here when ever we go through Flagstaff.
We used this park for an overnight stop, so we didn't have to go in to Salt Lake City at rush hour. It was clean and safe so we could go to town and re stock our trailer. Lots of trees and shade, pool looked nice but we didn't use it. We would stop again if we were in the area.
Great campground, we camped here in a fifth wheel with slides on both sides. Most of the sites would have been large enough for us. Fishing was good, trout and pike. A nice walking path and visitor center. Small store down the road if you need anything. Beautiful views of the farm land and mountains. Close to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and the Colorado National Mounument. We stayed here for 10 days.
This park was very clean and neat. Lots of big shade trees. The owners were very nice and helpful. Great for an over night easy in and out. They don't except guests after 10 PM as a courtesy to those people already sleeping. Stayed in a fifth wheel and will stop there when ever we are passing through.
