Park was well groomed and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lots were gravel but roads were paved. Decent amount of space between big rig lots although the roads were narrow. Very nice breakfast on Sunday morning. Pool was closed. Not really a bad word can be said about this park. We would stay here again.
Spectacularly disappointing! This a $25 a night campground at best. It is definitely not a resort! The sites are very un-groomed, sand lots, poorly marked, narrow, not well navigable with 40 foot rig. No cable or Wi-Fi and no access for satellite being under the trees. 2 other campers here besides us. Pool was closed. The build up on the web site and in the pamphlets were highly, highly exaggerated. We would not camp here again.
Their ad says they can accommodate RV's up to 50 feet, but the lot was barely big enough for our motorhome without room for the towed car. They asked us to park the car on a small grassy area where many, many other campers pottied their dogs without cleaning up after them because they might try to squeeze another RV in next to us. Thank God they didn't have to for we literally would not of been able to have our slides out and barely would of been able to open our door. We had to be very careful trying to get to our car door, due to the irresponsible pet owners and the park owners not enforcing the pet cleanup. They charged us full price for Saturday, not honoring the Passport rate. Many others do the same, but they state that policy in the Passport ad. This park did not have that stated. On the positive side, the staff is very helpful with local information. It is close to the National Redwood forest and the surrounding area is beautifully rustic. They also had a delicious Salmon grill out on Saturday night accompanied with local musicians which we totally enjoyed. We stayed 2 nights, Saturday and Sunday, in a 40 foot motorhome. We would not stay here again.
This is a nice little park. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The sites were level and gravel. Although could be wider for more privacy they are wide enough for the slides and picnic table. There are some permanent sites but fairly well maintained. There is a nice privacy fence around park. They do accept Passport club membership. The down side is there isn't much to do around the area and the park doesn't have any events to participate in. There is some traffic noise but not bad. We stayed here for 4 nights in a 40' motor home. We would stay here again.
We came here to be close to Tombstone not wanting to stay in Tombstone. We were so glad we stayed here. What was going to be a two day stop turned into a full week. The park is sparkling clean, manicured, impeccable. There is much to do for children, although we don't have any, with the pool, pool table, ping pong, large screen TV and hiking paths. It is extremely quiet and peaceful which we love, with huge RV sites, mountains at every view. It is out in the desert with a 10 mile drive to a large grocery but the drive is worth the peaceful beauty of this RV resort. We have Passport America which they accept and we are in a 40' motor home. I wish all parks could be as nice as this one. We would stay again in a heart beat!
