We stayed here while having some work done at Winnebago. The owners were very nice and worked constantly improving the campground. We had to stay at a motel for three nights due to repairs on our coach and the owners were understanding and looked after our items that had to be removed from our storage bins. If you are in the area I would recommend you stay here. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
Park has easy access off I-90. Upon arrival we were welcomed by friendly staff and given a free bottle of water as we checked in. Park was very clean and great place for an overnight or a couple days to sight see in Mitchell. We would definitely stay here again.
We have stayed in some magnificent resorts, and few of them matched the beauty of this one. Now, having said that, the getting here, and leaving can be hazardous to the well being of your RV if you are traveling in a Class A motorhome. The streets leading to the campground are lined with beautiful oak trees. Unfortunately, many of them have limbs that are growing downward: on the way in a limb that was impossible to miss, hit one of our antennas and the satellite dome. From the sound of it we thought it destroyed both, but incredibly, nothing was damaged. When we left: limbs from trees lining the road were impossible to avoid if there was on-coming traffic. The good news is I was able to wax out several long scratches on the passenger side.
This park is excellent for a overnight or couple of nights stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and covered shelter area were very clean. We would stay here again as well as recommend the park to other campers.
