Sites are close. Pool is small. Overall campground is clean and kid friendly. The roads are wide so you can easily maneuver your camper into the tight sites. Close to Dollywood and all of the other attractions in the area.
Park is excellent; however, transportation to parks seems slow. Love staying here. Food at the restaurant is great. Boat to Magic Kingdom is excellent. Washers and dryers are good but costly. Restrooms are clean. Enjoyed our stay.
Great park for camping. Many tent campers. Most sites are beach front. Amenities include fishing pier, playground, volleyball, Marina next door, swimming in ocean. Many "permanent" sites. This campground is great. Only downside is there is no sewer at all. I mean none. No dump station either. You need to call a company to pump your camper out or dump somewhere else. Only other option is use the park-provided pumper who comes on Mondays and Thursdays. It is included as part of permanent camper fees and is offered free to those who stay for an extended weekend (tell Monday). Excellent campground for family reunions and other group camping. The bath house is in ok shape. It is old, but clean.
This park was not a bad park. The ride in takes you through some back roads and past a few real dumpy houses which gets one worried as to what is next. Suggest getting directions from office as opposed to following MapQuest which may take you through someone's private driveway. The campground has a fishing lake, small pool and playground and WiFi. There are many permanent sites with a select number of transient sites. They were level and easy to get into and out of. The pool was somewhat clean and the lake was sprinkled with ducks and geese. We frequented Greenville. The drive was about 40 minutes to downtown. I would recommend this campground as a place to stop over night or to stay a few nights. If you are looking for campground activities during the day, then look elsewhere.
This campground has mostly permanent sites which are filled with old, sometimes very old campers. The campground is your most basic campground run by two old men. There is no playground or anything else to entertain kids. Most people living in the permanent sites are old. If you are looking for a cheaper place to stay right on the beach, you can't beat this place! Our site was right on the beach. We walked over a dune and were on the beach. The sites were very tight. Not much room once the slides were out! All-in-all the campground was clean. Beach was beautiful and not overcrowded. No lifeguard but there is a beach patrol. Highly recommend this place if you want peaceful ocean-front sites with full hookup for cheap or if you are on a budget. The Holiday Travel Park down the road is $30+ more per night.
