This is a super great park. The owner, the staff and other campers are all friendly and helpful. The owner and staff are there to make your stay a happy experience. By the way they have a lap pool, a "regular" pool and a hot tub, all heated.
The sites are very tight and the sites closer to the pool are more $$$. Lots of trees. They have a slab that are cracked an some moss on the picnic tables. Not worth the price. The owner is friendly and helpful, but the park needs work.
If you love the ocean this is the place for you. We camped in a motorhome and could sit in the front seat and look right out to the beach with the waves beating on to the shore. The campground is not a campground at all, its a parking lot. The sites are just uneven sand with small tables and poor cable. I did not care what our site looked like because I just wanted to sit and watch the water. So if you want extras this is not it. I thought it was great.
Office people were extremely helpful and friendly. The park was a welcome surprise. We looked at a few in the area, and this was a diamond in the rough. The sites were large enough for a 42 foot coach a tow dolly and our car. Each site has a table also. We were right on the water, just beautiful. Very clean and well kept. Fishing if you like.
This is a state park that is just beautiful. "Beach Road" is the best. The sites are very large and can fit any rig. Short walk to the ocean. Good paved roads and grass sites. You do need your own fire ring or can rent one. Camp fires are great. Located 2 exits from up- scale shopping.
