Staff seemed disinterested when we arrived. Reading a book and finished the page before greeting us. Roads are tight through out park. Charged $4.95 for Wi-Fi, didn't use it. Next morning we discovered the satellite TV service was turned off until 8 AM. Don't know what time they turned it off. We met some friends here who were equally disappointed. Pull through sites are water/electric only, no sewer.
A nice overnight stop. Rather unusual way of space arrangement (we were in site 73). Almost like parallel parking, but don't know how you'd get out if they put someone in front of you. They did have regular pull through sites also.
Overall a nice campground with nice level sites. Way off the beaten path and thus, very quiet. Only problem was that we went to see the Lincoln Museum and when we returned, there was someone else in our site and we were told to move to another site. If it weren't for this, I would've given a much higher rating.
Made last minute reservation for July 3rd. Arrived late afternoon in motorhome and was given site 37. We then went to the nearby Casino Queen to watch fireworks with friends staying at the Casino's CG. After the fireworks we came back to the CG to find our site occupied by another unit. luckily there was still someone at the office and they told me to find another open space. The spaces themselves seemed OK although rather close, but for an overnight stop I don't need more. It is frustrating to come back to a campground and find someone in your space.
We were in space #1. Very nice campground that was almost empty.. advantage of traveling after season. Campground facilities we used were spotless. Will definitely stay here again for a longer period. Full hookups were great.
Clean park. Friendly staff. Host led us to site. Water had heat tape so we had water, temp was in upper 20's. Visited in late November over Thanksgiving. Would go back again.. in warmer weather. Easy access.
This was our second trip to Nashville and second time here. They have free live music on nights there isn't a show at Grand Ole Opry (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday). Nice level sites, most have some shade.
Owners are very helpful, lead you to site and help you get parked. Came around asking if every thing was Ok. Fixed poor cable connection before we had a chance to complain. Will definitely stay here again.
Nice clean campground with a mix of seasonal sites and overnight sites. Clean wide pull thru sites in between the trees. Very nice and shady. Gravel roads thru out. Campground owner is SIL of original owner and very interested in making sure every thing is OK. Will stay here again.
This campground is under new ownership and they are starting to make improvements. There are a lot of seasonals here and the overnighters get put in vacant spaces. Will be interesting to see what additional changes the new owner makes.
This was an overnight stop for us. Campground convenient to all attractions. Have to point out that the layout is the strangest I have ever seen. Almost all sites are T shaped with 2 units sharing the crossbar of the T. It makes for some interesting maneuvering.
This is primarily a seasonal campground. They have 15 pull-throughs spaces available to non-seasonal. Campground was very clean and nice. The only complaint is that the spaces are very tight, requiring a fair amount on maneuvering to get into them even though they are pull-through. We were in a 34' motorhome.
We stayed here for 2 of the 3 nights we had reserved. Had to leave because of problems not related to camping. Overall was very pleased with this campground and will be going back next year. We were in site C-1 since we planned to be coming and going with our motorhome, no towed vehicle. Greeted at office and they were very helpful. Recommended places to eat and when M/H developed problems on Saturday AM, they made several calls to try to locate an open service facility to work on motorhome. Did not find their rules anything that I wouldn't expect any camper to follow, just common sense.
